Thank you for your video. I actually had to clean my viewfinder from fungus, so just used it to get the top plate off. Very hard to remove the eyepiece part without fully dissassembling the wiring over the pentaprism, but managed to loosen the parts enough to stick a swab drenched in alcohol and cleaned up the inside of the eyepiece pretty well, all things considered. Great little cameras, these Eos 5s! And now I can see through the viewfinder!

Great video! In the same process, I already managed to add the two screws. You don’t happen to know the size of the little spring that you used? I’ve ordered 1.5x5mm.. expect to cut a little bit off.
Great video!!!!! In doing mine I decided to leave the ball and spring out. Was still locking up. Also the time it took my little blue wire that comes out (oddly) through the front case broke near the ft lens. I'll just resolder it. Why does the blue wire go through the case? I put it on the inside of the case.
Hello Sir! My Canon 90d Camera Mode Dial has suddenly started working on A+ Mode. I am unable to shift it on Manual Mode. I reset it, updated it, cleaned the Dial from outside with brush but no result. Please guide me what should I do?

I have 1.8mm x 7.5mm. I think your will work better. No need to cut them. Let me know if they worked for you. Thanks!

the blue wire? no i have no idea :) I even couldn't find a service manual for this camera
