I've always understood a Flying Hirsch to be just a straight up mix of Jäger and Redbull, without the shotglass and a Jäger bomb to be with the shotglass
I like the foam idea, but the whole point of this drink is to have a little caffeine to get some extra energy to go out partying. I'd love to see the script flipped around and see a cocktail that doesn't use coffee or the typical tropical-flavoured energy drink, but still include some caffeine on it.
Interesting selection of flavours for the Red Bull cordial. I've always associated it to have a floral taste, kind of like violets. Like how Irn Bru tastes like Roses and 'bubblegum'.
I have made an elevated vodka redbull at home before and we used cointrau and st germain plus a bit of citrus then topped with Red Bull. So I agree with a bit of floral notes.
Back in my collage days whenever my friend's ordered these at the bar it was always Orange Juice that you drop the shot into before chugging it. OJ and Jager is pretty good.

EDIT: Oh interesting - in my part of the world the Jägerbomb always had you drop a shot glass filled with Jägermeister into a pint of lager instead! Funny how terminology can morph like that.

You might need something that will have to be neutral tasting, and aquafaba isn't. Check back through his videos or his website - link in the description - because he has found a sub for egg whites, but its not aquafaba for sure. His recipes and calculators for various recipes are there.
theres not that much caffeine in 3oz of red bull. so i think unless one is going to drink several in a short period of time. then there's really not much to worry about. maybe try just mixing jager in redbull and pouring it over ice. i like both redbull and jager and imagine them mixed together would be good. or jager and club soda would also be good.

I mean, a can of Red Bull has less caffeine than a typical double shot espresso, which would in theory make the espresso martini even more dangerous. I wonder if the bad reputation of this particular concotion comes from the the synergy between the caffeine, the B vitamins, maybe the taurine (I reckon the amount in Red Bull is neglegible for physioligical purposes) and the alcohol. That, or the fact people are not generally chugging ten espresso martinis in succession. Then again, I'm talking from a place of unexperienice: energy drinks never did anything for me and I've always been that guy who can drink coffee at 10:00 p.m. and still fall asleep.
This drink is just the poster child for all caffeine laden alcohol drinks, the bad reputation comes from the culture around the drink itself. You don't see groups of college age frat bros ordering espresso martinis and then getting into fights with anyone they see. Other similar drinks get the same bad reputation such as vodka Redbull and the original highly caffeinated 4Loko it is just this one seems to be the most notorious of the group.
So the solution is remove the stimulant as much as possible? Picture me surprised 🖼😲. Also a tip: the cigar lighter is nice, but once it gets sticky on the fake rubber parts it will fail eventually. Mine leaked gas fuel... not a fun time.
Unwaxed limes. They usually get dipped in wax to extend their shelf life, and that makes the zest inedible. So shop for unwaxed limes, lemons, and oranges when you want to use the zest in food or drink.
Not that I am worries, but during a night out, Jager Bombs are typically consumed multiple times, while Espresso Martinis are usually enjoyed less frequently.

All the taste of a Jagerbomb with none of the fun... Drinking pitchers of Jager and red bull helped me to pretend to have an immense tolerance for alcohol for most of my 20's, drink for 12 hours straight and then crash hard. Good times
Sorry, but the combination of caffeine and alcohol is exactly why you add energy drinks to your cocktails and long drinks. It's not for the taste, it's to get shitfaced.
