- In today's video, I am off to Joshua Tree National Park! The park was full, I got stuck in the sand, and I had to reverse a quarter of a mile down a sandy road (hint - where I got stuck), BUT I made it to a cool camp with my friend Donya.

I saw you on the "Work less" channel with Larry and I enjoyed it so I just subscribed and watched a couple of your videos. I basically like camping channels because I am older and am somewhat disabled but I loved camping when I was younger. I just love seeing others enjoying themselves.

I am getting ready to travel around before it gets to 100 plus in CA and AZ. I am starting out from Menifee in So Cal and will be taking 1-2 week trips out from my home. I own a F-150 4x4 with a 32’ trailer. The trailer is about 10’ longer than I wanted, but since it is paid for, that is what I will go with.

Thanks for sharing. I’d like to get a 4 rubber as my next vehicle but they aren’t cheap even preowned. When we’re ready to buy a Class C, it will be preowned. Regarding faith, if more people could put it in their lives, the world would be a better place. Thanks for sharing.
Wanna throw this out There. ( Down to mob) in his beginning times had one of these same trailers. I believe he still has it. He had to do some welding. The vacations on the frame to help it be more stable off-road. You should go check that oit's. In his earlier years you can find it in his videos, he talks. About it in great detail and walks through the welding stuff.That him and his friend did to make it stronger.

You cracked me up cooking your food on the hood. Im retired but i worked in a machine shop here in Arizona and i used to put my food behind the shop for a few hours and the sun cooked my food good enough.

So far so great! I'm not used to towing but I barely notice it back there (unless going up a hill and then I watch my mpg tank lol). It's an awesome upgrade from the 4runner platform and rooftop tent, but also nice like my old truck camper.

Hi, you mentioned "radio range" in your video. What radio do you and other RVers use? Thx.
We all kind of have different setups, but mine is a Midland GMRS radio, and it plugs into the 12v so I don't have to worry about dead batteries.
Thx. That is what I assumed. Truckers seem to have switched over to GMRS but I haven't figured out the equivalent to CB Channel 19 in the GMRS world. I did try to look up that info and thought it was GMRS 22. I haven't had much luck monitoring 22 when I travel. Maybe just out of range of others. Anyway, please keep up the posts, your area is beautiful.
Hi, I'm new to your channel. I'd love to be nomadic. I have 2 larger GSP dogs. I may have to work away from my rig. Any suggestions on how to keep dogs comfortable? I'm thinking I'll need a lot of power available for temperature control. And space for them. Windows to not feel closed in and to be entertained. Like I said I'm new. So if you don't mind me asking, what are your methods for their comfort?
I try to stay in locations where the temperatures are good. I don't like being in anything over 85° but I can run my 4R with AC and lock it if I have to. I have rechargeable fans to create air flow, and I will try to park in the shade. I also have bug nets for the windows.
For cold weather, they have their own blankets, but my Shepherds have tons of fur, so they don't typically have issues unless it's below 30° outside.

Are you thinking about mounting your solar panels on the roof or would that be too heavy
I've thought about it, and the more I navigate these panels, the more I want to mount them. I haven't come up with a great way to do it yet, but I'd like to eventually.
