I think we are safe on Cheetah since Herschend doesn’t invest into Wild Adventure. Herschend really doesn’t have a good track record on their parks that aren’t Silver Dollar City or Dollywood. They closed Celebration City, they’ve had Wild Adventures for ten years and most of the new rides have been transplants from Celebration City. They operated Darien Lake and Elitch Gardens where their biggest new rides were Larson Super Loops. 😂
RMC Hurler is the most likely and I expect it will happen at some point in the next 5-7 years. Zeus is the other coaster I think would possibly happen. I could see Mt Olympus do that but I think the Raptor model is the way to go for most of these smaller parks.
The company that owns Elitches are the people who proposed the redevelopment project. The land is much more valuable to them as their residential/commercial proposal, and it makes since being on prime downtown land. The city has approved the proposal, but it's projected to take ~25 years to complete, so Elitches won't close for probably 5-10 years. Due to this, I doubt we'll see any big investment (like RMC Twister) in this time, due to lack of land space and the somewhat near-term closure. Being a Denver enthusiast, I'd love to have RMC Twister, as maybe it'd actually get me to visit the park.
I could see carowinds putting a gci in place of nighthawk and giving hurler the rmc treatment. Most of the time when i went nighthawk was down for maintenance. As cool as it is to have one of the few flying dutchman's in existence i feel a more reliable wooden coaster would be a better fit. Especially since they tore down thunder road
Cheetah has some of that jackhammering, but it's not too terrible, and the airtime is very good. I very much liked the ride. All it needs is a little retracking.
It may be very difficult due to regulations in the area preventing new construction in that land since it's so close to the road. I did discuss American Eagle in my first RMC video.
How about Outlaw at Adventureland? They technically have 2 other wood coasters and Outlaw is a Mike Boodley CCI design with his iconic curved drop he brought over to GCI. I think RMC did a nice job with the Roar/Joker conversion (also a Boodley design). It would be interesting to see if they would treat the first drop the same way or try a different approach. A barrel roll drop seems it would work nicely, but it's been done twice already, could Alan think of something new? Of coarse, they have to give me a few years to get out there to ride it as it as first!
Personally I'd rather see that one stay as is, but if I had to pick one at that park to be converted, it would be that one. It looks pretty unremarkable. Interesting thoughts 🤔 I wonder what other kinds of unique drops Alan could create... I do live the barrel roll drop though.
@@coasterdaddy7123 I guess with Boodley only designing Outlaw and the 2 Roar coasters before leaving to start GCI, they don't seem like classic CCIs. Plus I'm not a big fan of the first drop curving. Talk about "coming up with something new"!
The Tornado @ Adventureland in Altoona, Iowa needs it. They could do an epic one of a kind swirl that mimics a tornado cloud at the end before it turns around and heads back to the entrance!!
While I wouldn’t put out Carowinds Hurler our for an RMC I doubt it will happen anytime in Atleast the next 7 years. The reason they’ve been doing track work and have kept it is because it is the only major wooden coaster in the park. So unless they do get a new wooden coaster I don’t think it will get converted. Also in 2019 Hurler was the 5th most ridden attraction in the park, clearly showing that since it’s the only wooden coaster there, GP love it.
I heard somewhere that La Ronde was one of a few parks with its own in-house maintenance workshop or something like that. Is it true? I don't understand the comment that RMC'ing a coaster in Canada would be impossible. What makes it different from any other coaster built there, in regards to being "foreign?"
RMC likes to handle all of the construction of their rides. There is a law in Canad that does not allow companies from outside of Canada to do labor. Therefore, RMC would have to build a facility in Canada (would be expensive and not worth the cost I'm sure) or more than likely would have to work with another company in handling the construction.
I wish the cheetah at wild adventures got the rmc treatment, but herschend basically hates that park, so it will probably never happen. I wish they Gave that park more love!
Hershey and MA's "Wildcat"s were both listed in the first video he did back in fall of last year along with Boss and American Eagle. On a different topic: For the sake of RMC conversions it's a bit frustrating that La Ronde and Canda's Wonderland are owned by different chains. I think RMC would open a Canadian office to support 3+ rides, but that's difficult for either Cedar Fair or Six Flags to deliver for one park (respectively). I think Six Flags would absolutely consider it, given how many RMC conversions they've purchased in recent years. I've heard some rumor that Cedar Fair has been frustrated with some design issues with Steel Vengeance regarding it's mid course block brake and ride control system, resulting the ride operating at far lower than advertised capacity. I haven't heard of any problems with Twisted Timbers though, and SV was clearly a very ambitious project in a way that converting Hurler, (CGA's) Grizzly, or MineBuster wouldn't be. I've also heard that both SV and TT failed to bring attendance boosts in line with expectations... But as Michigander I know SV has gone over nearly as well with the general public as it has the enthusiast community - It might not have delivered the crowds in year one but between fast lane plus sales and the fact that it's still a pull a couple years after opening - they may decide it's worth it after all

I know that it will never happen but I would like to see the beast get RMC treatment. If they was around when the son of beast was here they could of save it
From what I've heard RMC actually did look at it but weren't able to salvage any of it because the construction was so poor. That was the case of a lot of SOB issues. RMC built their first coaster a year before SOB was demolished.
I did not state that they have built everything themselves. I said RMC likes to do the work themselves, but I am very well of the partnership between Vekoma and RMC. Vekoma is licensed to sell and build RMC projects outside of North America. They kind of have to do that to keep up with the high demand. They also manufacture the track themselves which takes a lot of resources too, something not a lot of the major manufacturers do. And RMC cannot currently work in Canada. They could have a Canadian company construct a ride for them in Canada, otherwise they'd have to open an office in Canada if they want to build there.
I do have to say I don't think that's completely fair. Timber Wolf and Thunder Run seem to really be generally well liked and both look just fine. They have actually undergone significant trackwork recently by GCI and RMC as well.
@@coasterdaddy7123 Wolverine Wildcat is also pretty fun not in a wheel seat plus Phoenix is technically constructed by Dinn and the Beast is designed by Charlie Dinn, those two which definitely don't need the RMC treatment

Yeah I hope you guys in the UK can get an RMC soon! I know a lot of people seem to want Thorpe to invest in one!
@@howenator honestly merlin would literally market the hell out of that ahaha
@@coasterdaddy7123 yeah 100%, all we need in the UK is a Gravity group and RMC, we have a GCI, CCI, and PTC coasters (John a miller coasters in Blackpool)
@@coasterdaddy7123 If alton didn't have the height limit they would've gotten one years and years ago.
Thank you for bringing up Cheetah at Wild Adventures. No one really ever talks about it.
I've always wanted to ride it ever since finding out about it in 2005. I'm sort of fascinated with with all of the CCIs!
Coaster Daddy It is my home park, so I rode it a lot. It’s not as bad in the back, or was it the front? I think it was the front.
@@coasterdaddy7123 So how did other coasters in Canada get built?
ROAR at Six Flags America could use the RMC treatment.
2:40 “elitch gardens was lacking that one true stand out coaster”
They were lacking one good coaster
RMC American Eagle. You're missing a big one. Lol
Like I said in the video......there is a video before this one!!! 😉 This is the second video of this type.
RMC Son of Beast is what we all want
RMC looked at the structure but it was too unsound. SOB was a very poorly constructed monstrosity.
Just wanted to post this before the premier lol
I wish the cheetah at wild adventures got the rmc treatment, but herschend basically hates that park, so it will probably never happen. I wish they Gave that park more love!
I do hope they invest more into the park in the future, not counting on it though.
Coaster Daddy I would also love this place to get a euro fighter.
No wildcat on this list😥
Hershey and MA's "Wildcat"s were both listed in the first video he did back in fall of last year along with Boss and American Eagle.
On a different topic:
For the sake of RMC conversions it's a bit frustrating that La Ronde and Canda's Wonderland are owned by different chains.
But as Michigander I know SV has gone over nearly as well with the general public as it has the enthusiast community - It might not have delivered the crowds in year one but between fast lane plus sales and the fact that it's still a pull a couple years after opening - they may decide it's worth it after all
Your making me so hype to ride steel vengeance, I never have but will soon. Thanks for the info👍
I think that one just needs GCI to retrack it again.
Here's coasters that should get rmced
Rmc Mightty Canadian mine buster at Canadas Wonderland
Roar at six flags America
Predator at Darien Lake
Racer at kings island
Hurler at Carowinds
AMERICAN Eagle at Six flags great America
Grizzly at Calafornias great America
Boss at Six Flags St Louis
Twister 2 at erlich gardens
One of the Wooden coasters at Kennywood
Legend at holiday world
Regina at Tobu Zoo
Timberwolf at dorney park
This is just my opinion
Timberwolf is at World's of Fun. I think you mean thunderhawk lol I talked about most of those in my two videos
@@coasterdaddy7123 oh I ment thunderhawk lol
I know that it will never happen but I would like to see the beast get RMC treatment. If they was around when the son of beast was here they could of save it
From what I've heard RMC actually did look at it but weren't able to salvage any of it because the construction was so poor. That was the case of a lot of SOB issues. RMC built their first coaster a year before SOB was demolished.
Hurler will not get RMCd until they have another woodie...
Perhaps
RMC could do monster. Vekoma did build wildfire so you stating the do all there own work is not entirely true
Anything by dinn
I do have to say I don't think that's completely fair. Timber Wolf and Thunder Run seem to really be generally well liked and both look just fine. They have actually undergone significant trackwork recently by GCI and RMC as well.
@@coasterdaddy7123 Wolverine Wildcat is also pretty fun not in a wheel seat plus Phoenix is technically constructed by Dinn and the Beast is designed by Charlie Dinn, those two which definitely don't need the RMC treatment
Ok hear me out... rmc Hoosier Hurricane
Six Flags St Louis will need to RMC The Boss. As for Carowinds . Fury will keep the park relevant for a few years.
The daddy thing is creepy
