Thank you for your DIY videos of all 4 parts of rain water Harvesting processs, good stuff and we'll explained , good Job, appreciated and well done, please keep posting more stuffs on different topics , I would like to know whether submersible pump/motor will get damaged ? if we pumped directly rain water into working Borewell ? I mean if there is heavy rain fall then force of water inlet into borewell will be more right which doubles the force due to gravitation which may impact motor performance may be water get hits the motor directly with force ?
I don't have a sump. What do you think of storing water in a water tank? And can you make a detailed video on recharging an existing bore, points to be noted while doing the project.
Yes the water can be stored in tank but the rain water is huge in quantity so you will need huge tank. Hence recharge to bore is best option. Sir we tried to cover best all point to be taken care while doing this project see all 3 videos to get more information.
Very good question. Technically no as you have casing pipe installed in bore. However if you stay in area where the solid is soft it may happen. However in south india usually we do casing upto 100 feet till we get rock. However its very subjective. I have seen bore where even without rian water charge the soil erosion happens and bore gets damaged.
You can use reducer available on any hardware shop but sir it may create problem if you have heavy rain. Your terrace will have water logging issue as outflow will be slow. So please check before doing
Excellent explanation
Glad it was helpful!
wanted to know, wont it effect the submersible pump inside the bore when we allow the water to fall inside the borewell directly???
no i am using for 3 years and no problem at all
V good
Thanks for feedback.

Thanks. If you have casing pipes till rock bed then no problem at all. I am using it successfully with 80 feet casing

If you redirect rain water directly into bore. There will be soil erosion right
