She said on twitter she had 4 matches after that streetfight as well as doing a fighting musical thing. Now whether her tweets were shoot or storyline that's anyone's guess, but she certainly didn't seem happy about it on twitter.

This actually works for Shida in a sense. As Deeb was indirectly responsible for her injury and subsequently keeping her out of the tournament, it now gives Shida the proverbial chip on her shoulder in their rivalry, if they decide to revisit it down the road.
We are still going with that? Is this the third time now deeb as made it so shida could not compete? All for what, deeb to make her tap clean again? The rivalry has good matches but they are having the wrong person get the upper hand most of the time. It’s also gotten repetitive as hell

By the looks of her 'I didn't know I was injured, I've wrestled 4 times since' comment, seems like TK screwed Shida over and she's not happy...shame.
@@samanthabowers2622 in a later tweet by Shida it was revealed that she was pulled because she had gone to Japan and due to travel restrictions wasn't back in time to be medically cleared.
However, the fact that Aew didn't communicate that they were pulling her from the tournament and she had to find out through social media or something is REALLY bad

Statlander has been one of the better female wrestlers on AEW. Would be nice for her to win the tournament and get back to being featured more.

I agree. But it seems like TK leans more towards presentation and strong personalities when it comes to the women these days. Kris is one of their best in-ring, but she doesn’t make a strong impression, personality-wise, at least to me. BUT don’t get me wrong, I think she’s one of their best, but I want the best of both worlds. As far as ability and strong personality goes, Serena Deeb is the total package, as is Thunder Rosa. So, I’d be happy with Kris winning, but she needs a new, stronger gimmick or something. She’s changed her look a bit and is over, but there’s something missing.
The fault is mostly with Tony, though, because the women get scraps in terms of storylines and development. I think that’s why he relies on stronger personalities (Britt, Jade, Thunder Rosa, etc.) more because he can coast on presentation and charisma a bit more. It’s confusing, though because he gave Britt a ton of platform with her show and stuff.
I don’t know. It’s poorly balanced. So, even if Kris wins, if she wins a belt, even, she could end up having an underwhelming reign because there’s in-ring, yes, but no deep development of character. TK needs to step his game up because he’s lazy AF towards the women (throwing Red with Jade after them feuding more than once is lazy, though I love them together-he wasted the opportunity for months of storyline-just one example). He’s always throwing stuff together right before a PPV when it comes to the women. It’s still frustrating. So, I’m waiting for him to learn. We’ll see what happens for Kris.
It’s a shame Shida won’t compete but Statlander would be a good dark horse in the tournament

Absolutely a fan of The Baddies I love the entire presentation & it give Velvet & Kiera TV time & it elevates Jade too. Now I am looking pass this tourney match & thinking about Kris & Jade. Well overdue these two women have not crossed paths I would be perfectly fine if she becomes the new TBS Champion at DoN, Jade has 30-1 would be perfect way to end her streak. I wish this started about 2 weeks ago with a story though because Schiavone is right Velvet & Kris used to be friends if will get people thinking if the build right is Kris the one to take down Jade & make it much more special if she does. I do believe Jade can now handle a mini story Sterling will be there to support her before he gets fired which was teased & hopefully Hathaway (Bivens) comes in & becomes the new manager for The Baddies because that would be gold.

Statlander is fine but there's no way she's over enough to cost Jade her first loss just yet. AEW should be smart like Triple H was with Asuka and ride the undefeated streak for as long as possible until fans lose interest. The whole point in wrestling is to get people over, and putting the belt on Statlander right now won't get her over.

Soho? Ruby’s match vs Jade was one of the worst. The only decent matches were with Thunder Rosa, Allie, and Anna Jay. The rest of t them looked bad. Point is, Jade should lose in a hard fought victory and it should be vs someone that makes the match look good despite Jade. Any other matches should be short and sweet. With Jade being like Goldberg use to be. Five moves. Victory for Jade.

Ruby’s match vs Jade was horrendous. Statlander made the match with Jade look better. Neither match was exceptional. Allies match with Jade was decent. And Thunder Rosas. And Anna Jay. Their matches with Jade were best. Especially Rosa’s.
