Did you mean to have the Mr. Potato Head clip post twice?!
Thank you❤
Can you please tell us what dollar tree you go to? I've been asking for along time now. Thanks
@@jessicabna I don’t share for safety reasons. I once had someone follow me home who recognized me from my RUclips channel. I will say I live in Chicago, Illinois.
Honestly, I’ve been around such a long time - I miss when you would show your shirt of the day, tell us where you got it and ask a question of the day!
It’s the little things ❤️
You’re the best!!! I love your light up name signs! Great job.
Yes me too 😉
I was just thinking that when your kids are in school, you're going to be an awesome PTA Mom who helps decorate, & shares her talents:) I'm sure you'll be asked to help w/all kinds of things bc you're so creative! Thanks for another great vid!
Funny you say that! I’m decorating for my sons Sweetheart Dance! 😂
Bethany, can you please show us how you store all your different seasons of decor?!
I am so glad u asked I have been meaning to ask her
Great suggestion for a video. I've personally been trying to transfer everything into labeled bins over the last year. I have smaller like $3 bins for smaller holidays like Valentines day, St Patty's day, 4th of July, Birthday stuff, and the larger, normal sized bins for Easter, Spring/Summer stuff, Fall/Thanksgiving decor, Christmas(-although this one takes up multiple, multiple bins and boxes still 😅)
I'd love to see how other RUclipsrs organize and store it all.
I love how you not only show what products are at Dollar tree but you also show how to craft with them all in the same video! It’s my favorite
🎉Agreed. It makes it so much easier to picture uses for the cool finds.
The lamb on your mantle is so adorable.
I caught my styrofoam snowman on fire with my daughter’s powerful heat gun🤦♀️🤦♀️. Does that count?? 😭😭😭😭😭😜😜😜
You win! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤣❤️
😂
Omgosh what??? That had to be terrifying!
WHOA!!!!! 😳😳😳
😂 love this comment! I've been afraid to use my heatgun for crafts since I completely melted thru 2 pool noodles attempting to attach them to each other while making a Halloween ladder 2 years ago. But your flaming snowman definitely has me beat! 😂
I was cleaning the parts machine I use for polymer clay and was not paying close attention. I slice 4 fingers on my right hand. I didn't realize I was gushing blood until I looked at my desk. I had to take a typing test at work for a promotion the next morning. Thankfully, I got the job.
Nice finds Bethany! The hot glue crafting disasters are the worst!!! Fall 2019 I was crafting and decorating at 2 am. I didn't realize glue from my HighTemp gun was dripping on the thigh of my jeans. When I felt the heat, I cut and ripped my Jean leg and let out an agonizing scream, wakng and terrifying my household. Thank God, though It blistered and scarred it eventually healed completely.
I've forgotten how often I have glued my fingers together. Hot glue gun burns are a common thing. The rotary cutter got me one day when I was cutting fabric, and I was using a quilting ruler. That hurt. I have frequently stitched my fingers when hand sewing. It is what it is.
Not my story, but a coworker was using a drimmel tool to put finishing touches on a Christmas ornament. The tip shot off and needed up in her eye, making her blind. I learned my lesson, always wear safety glasses.
I glued myself to a wall (attempting to attach something to said wall,) to my leg, my fingers together, my fingers to a desk, and to a miniature I was helping to build. My husband has banned my usage of glue, especially when instant set spray is involved.
🤣
Love these items. And the rubber wedding bands are freat for my husband because hes an electrician and cant wear metal due to shocking. When he first started out he was 18 and forgot he was wearing a neclace. He got a shick and had the chain burnt into his neck. Look like he was still wearibg it 😂 taught him real fast 😅
Bethany, just wanted you to know that I notice that you look so much better now than when you were pregnant and right after you had the baby. You just look so much energized and not so tired. Being pregnant must have just exhausted you you. Glad to see you looking better. Thank you for your videos!!!!! Hugs.
Jump rope genius!!!
That lit up sign for Cooper is very cool 👍
Hi Bethany, so I was carving a faux pumpkin with a hot knife, and ended up stabbing myself in the stomach with the blade. Luckily, because the knife was hot so it didn’t bleed. But I still have a scar. Oh the things we do while crafting…😂😂😂
😮😮😮
I am so happy that you are getting sponsors!!!! I hope that you get flooded with God's goodness!!!
I love how you are so real especially about keeping to a budget. Some influencers kind seem fake and like they have money running out of their ears.
LOVE your crafts and energy, Bethany!! I'd like to request that when you describe and show dollar tree items, that you PLEASE indicate what it they are MADE OF (i.e. if something is plastic, heavy acrylic, ceramic, or glass,...or for example in previous videos, if it's burlap, thin fabric, thick canvas, wood, or even like your frutti pepple wreath-was that PAPER , or think PLASTIC strips?? ANYTIME and ALWAYS if you can please more specifically describe the weight and FORMS of materials, that would sure help. On camera it's impossible to tell!! Keep up the great work! You are a STANDOUT!!!😍😍
Thank you for always bringing us such great projects and ideas . I thought I was having a bit of Deja vu when you talked about the blind bags twice, 🤣😂.
The Cooper sign AND Cooper - ADORABLE!! 🥰 That's all I watched so far - had to comment. Back to video now....haha
My crafting story is… I needed two plastic pieces to stay together but I needed it to stay together FAST as we were leaving for my moms house and I glued my thumb and pointer finger to the piece… took a half hour to separate lol to say the least…. We were late 😁😁😁 And I lost some skin 🤣🤣🤣🤣😳😳
I have an old crafting(sort of)injury story! When I was a little girl(about 8 or 9 years old) I had a paper doll set that had little decorative pins to hold the clothes on and I was dressing the dolls while sitting on the floor and when I got up to do something I accidentally put my knee down on one of the pins and it was stuck in my knee. Now that I think about it that was a dangerous toy!😂 Sidenote: you had the blind bag clip twice in the video!❤😂❤
We must have had that same thing as the same thing happened to me. I ended up with "water on the knee" and couldn't walk on that leg for weeks.
I'm watching this at 1am and thought, "did I fall asleep and I woke up at the same part"...lol!
Ouch!! The knee. That definitely had to hurt. 😭😭😭♥️
Ouch
I don’t do Instagram or TikTok so I will be patiently waiting for your tutorials to make it to RUclips! 🐣 🥚 🐰
I went to DT to find the Hey Human products and luckily I also found the Sukin products. These products are worth looking for they cost about 15 dollars each product at Target. I found the brightening glow night moisturizer. I am definitely looking for more of this brand at DT because it is all natural ingredients and very good.
Love your channel Bethany! I’ve been following you for years. You can make different hair clips for Noel even if she doesn’t have a lot of hair by cutting off a piece of the ziplock from a plastic bag and use that as a base and just ziplock a little piece of hair. You can also use a tiny piece of Velcro. I used to work at Michael’s and made all the wreaths and centerpieces for the store. The glue gun would be on for hours and one day it went on fire. Never walk away from a glue gun when it’s plugged in. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas!
Yes I have burnt myself with glue gun and also sliced my finger with my cutter, mostly happens when I’m doing my diys in a rush and very last minute. Tfs
I was gifted a woodburning kit when I was about 9 years old. I was using it one day and you know you have to kind of push down a bit while you are moving it over your pattern. As I was pushing and moving it the woodburning tool slipped and stuck into my index finger of the hand holding the wood piece down. Burnt the crap out of my finger and had a huge blister. Needless to say, that was the last time I used a woodburner.
Thanks to my large Swingline guillotine paper cutter, while trimming photos, the blade came down on my finger!
I cut a large chunk off the tip of my left ring finger! OMG ~ Ouch!
It was so bad, I had to make a trip to the emergency room. It was so damaged, the doctor had to cut off what was left, because there was not enough skin to reattach by stitches.
I received a special type of occlusion bandage that helps new skin form, while stopping the bleeding.
Plus I had to get the TDAP vaccine, {Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis} combination. I ended up being allergic to the combination!
So for the next week, in addition to dealing with the finger injury and pain, I had to endure ocular migraines in both eyes, which caused my eyes to be wacky, seeing flashing black and white lines, along with abnormal vision, which prevented me from driving.
It took 2 months for my finger to heal completely. And it did not help that I am severely allergic to any form of adhesive bandages.
After I got home from the E.R. several hours later, I tightened the screw on my cutter. Lesson learned … scar and nerve damage appreciated.
Your dance kills Meee!!!! 😂I love your personality!!!
I cut the tip of my finger off using a rotary cutter when I was cutting netting for a wreath! Bled like crazy!!
Crafting can be an occupational hazard! I have burned myself with the glue gun, and it also wrecks my manicure! I finally got those silicone finger covers!
Oh man me and glue guns 😂😂 I was crafting on my porch 3 years ago in the summer and had bare feet. I dropped a glob of hot glue onto my foot. I was in so much pain but I couldn't get it off because it eas too liquid to grab properly and it kept burning while it cooled. When I finally ripped it off, it took a plug of skin with it! A chunk in the shape of a circle came out. 😮 I still have the scar!
I practically burn my fingerprints off every Christmas pinching things with hot glue!
I bet parties at your home are always fun.
I keep a bowl of cold water on the table whenever using a glue gun. If you do get a burn, I highly recommend the burn bandages. They cool the burn instantly.
I always enjoy seeing the fun finds you score at Dollar Tree. It inspires me to look for similar items at my own stores.
Awesome tips. Thanks. You had the Mr. Potato head toy clip in there twice at around 11 minutes in and then at 15 minutes in. I was confused for a minute. I was like didn’t I just see this.😅
Like a dozen people have pointed this out lol 😅. It was a little oversight! Most people don't realize that to fix it, she would have to take down the entire video (losing all the views so far) and repost it! I was confused for a second too but I usually watch her videos twice anyway so no big deal for me 🤣
I always trust your input and a few others input on what Dollar Tree items are worth that extra quarter. None of my Dollar Trees have the plus section.
You dancing to the bunny song 😅😅 you’re so funny
Nice dancing with the bunny! Lots of good things to look for, TFS. Really enjoy your videos. I have burned myself with hot glue too many times. Now I always use the finger protectors and the silicone spatula.
I gotta try the neon sign. Hopefully I can find those jump ropes
They just started putting them out, so if you cant find them yet, im sure they will be in your store soon
So funny when the bunny ears flew off lol very cute idea.
Adorable table scape!! Wow...
Your Easter tablescape is adorable!
I wish my DT in NJ had at least half of what yours has! Great ideas!
If not for you I’d never know what to look for at Dollar Tree. I’m building a Barbie house and I often see things you’ve hauled that I can use in the house. I buy little toys for myself or as gifts for other adults and Dollar Tree is a great place to find them. Usually I get small things to decorate packages. Watching your videos can inspire me or save me a trip. Can’t wait for your your next video. 🤙🏻
The neon name idea wow 🤩
One of my favorite things!
Once when I was sewing a bunch of Easter baskets my cat jumped up on my sewing table and quickly batted at the needle going up and down the needle went into his poor little paw pad . It freaked us both out. I cried more than he did
Oh my lord that jumprope idea is amazing!
Bethany, the most important thing about treating a burn at home is, fisrt very cool and then😢😢😢 very cold water. Put the burned area under running water whenever possible. What you want to do is take the heat away from the the burn. DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF SAVLE as this holds the heat in. Keep burned area in cold water forever (jk). You'll need to have patience, depending on the size of the area, this can take a few hours. Keep the area in cold water until the area of skin not burned, gets too cold. Remove from water until you feel the burn again, then right back in cold water. Repeat as many time as needed till you don't feel the burn anymore. You'll need to keep the water cold by changing water/adding ice cubes. I'm an absolute crybaby when it comes to being burnt, this has worked for me several times. The worst burns i treated this way were steam burns to most of my right-hand. It took 5 hours doing exactly this, but when done, I had no pain, no scars or marks from the burn. Call it a miracle, call it science, either way, it worked. This needs to be taught to everyone.
Mushrooms used to be a big thing in the 60's and 70's - salt and pepper shakers, etc.
I was at a scrapbook retreat and cut my eye with a piece of glitter! It was excruciating! But my page looked awesome (so I was told lol since I had to squint 😂)
I love the sign made with the jump ropes. You are so creative!
Thanks so much! 😊
Cute musical bunnies!
You really liked the potato head blind bags lol … always enjoy your videos 😊
They have a lot I have not been to dollar tree in a while, everything looks so cute.
I got hot glue on the top of my middle finger and not thinking I ripped it off and in the process I took off about 3 layers of the skin off my finger. It took forever to heal! 🤦🏻♀️
I was crafting in shorts and dropped hot glue on my lap. My reflexes caused me to instantly wipe away the glue......while simultaneously wiping away my skin and a bit of flesh..... Healing was painful, and it took a long time. Lesson: Cover yourself while crafting!
Super excited abt the wedding bands! I order them online & they've been $30-30 😳
My crafting accident was slicing the pad of my thumb open. Shoulda had stictches but just superglued it lol! It healed up but I have a bit of a scar 😁
I enjoy watching videos like this. That way, I make a list of what I am looking for. Thank you for sharing these diys.
I might make the bunny bowls with dog toys in it as my dog Easter basket this year so cute!!
Glitter! I don't use it any more. After helping my friend put together a memory book for her parents 50th anniversary. She insisted on using a super fine glitter in the book cover. 12 years later I was cleaning up my house to put it up for sale. I was still cleaning up that super fine glitter! Nope, never again.😂😅
Hahaha, oh no!
I enjoy your hauls especially, because you show us how you use them, personally.
So cute love your cooper sign. I MUST MAKE SOME. you have such great ideas. Looking forward to your easter DIY'S. Are you gonna do whats in my kids easter basket? I think that would be fun. Thanks for the nice finds. Now I must go find them!😅
You are HILARIOUS 😂 I like when you were letting us hear the singing bunny's 🤣 and you were dancing. Great video good crafting ideas 💡 👍 keep'em coming.
Bethany thanks again for sharing this video. Such great ideas for Easter and Spring time. ❤
Coconut oil is really good for scars and burns❤
Thanks for all the cool ideas! I love that you mention buying some of the items now to use later in the year for other holidays and things.
Lavender oil is best for burns. I keep it handy in my kitchen.
I was using a Power drill and chipped my nail and scraped my hand when I was trying to put a hole in a plastic ornament that I was trying to hold down and slipped 😅 crafting injuries 🤷🏽♀️
That spring table display was so nice and cheerful😊 I was cutting paper with a utility knife trying to get a small rounded cut and I got my finger really bad ...youre right , crafting is dangerous lol
It may be the most dangerous thing I do 😂
Loved all the items you featured!
You have some of the best ideas 💡 love watching
You’re so very talented and creative!
I think those hairbows would be great on your wreath
I'm so glad you made this video, been depressed & felt I needed some Bethony energy & ideas ty
Glad my video could be a help. Thanks so much for watching
Been watching your videos for years ! Even when i didnt live in a state that has Dollar Tree or 5 below 😅 i used to watch your videos to see what Dollar Tree would have that month or your DIYs and admire from afar 😂😂 but i now live in the states again and I'm happy to still see what they have and head to the store when I get a chance ! Thank you for your awesome channel and cute ideas! ❤
The Mr. Potatohead blind bag segment is in this video twice.
Great haul and ideas. Blessings 😊 🙏 ❤
I took the foam bunnies and eggs and painted them a chocolate color, and my grandsons thought they were real until they picked them up. Thanks for the info. I will have to see if any of these things are still at mine.
I hope my DT gets silicone bands. Love the Cooper sign
Great video.😊❤
I love watching
I'm so accident prone I couldn't begin to list all the ways I've injured myself while crafting! I tend to avoid anything involving sewing needles for that reason, I'm guaranteed to manage to hurt myself somehow, someway. Which is sad because I love bead-weaving! And I'm not hot gluing anything without at least one burnt fingertip LOL! 😅😂 Oh well, I still enjoy myself and I've made some awesome decorations if I do say so myself!
I love the jump rope sign. I'll have to make one. Those little potato heads (I call them tater tots) are like $3 at Big Lots. I've never seen them at DT.
Real nice video, I just 🫶🏾 all of your ideas 👊🏾 ... and can't wait to make some gifts! 🤗 😁🥰
Most cheap spray hose attachments work for a little bit but the don’t last long at all and start to leak
We have had good luck with the ones we have used so far
I have an idea on those large Easter eggs put them on some icicle lights you might have to put a spot of glue to hold them if you have them❤ outside
I was using a hot glue gun to finish up some crafts for my kids bizarre when I got hot glue on my finger between my wedding rings and it burned so bad and got the rings super hot. i had to have my rings cut and removed at the e.r. totally sucked. hope your burn gets better. ❤
Another thing you can use on the egg wreath are the tulips from the garland in the spring area. Those with the bunny end would be really cure.
I want the singing bunnies! So cute.
Yes, those glue guns are dangerous! I fan-folded some paper to make a medallion. While I was holding all that fan folded paper into a flat circle (with lots of hot glue in the center), I lost my grip on the paper. It sprung up from the counter and hot glue got all over the palms of both hands. Very ouchy! Got a few blisters, but I conquered that paper anyway! I've always said it's a rule that E.V.E.R.Y. time you use a glue gun you have to burn yourself. Thanks for sharing all your ideas!
I find myself smiling every time I watch your videos.
I burn myself multiple times crafting 😂 I also started to stock up gifts for Christmas too. I get so many good deals on gifts this way
I've had my hose sprayer for years it's been out in all weather and still works wonders
Wow, your table looks beautiful. Love the spring colors 😍
Great items!
I was making a scrapbook once and sliced through my finger with a hobby knife when cutting paper. Luckily, it didn’t need stitches. Bethany, I love to watch you!
Thank you for your great ideas
This didn't happen to me but it did happen to my aunt one year we are a family of crafters she cut herself with a rottery cutter and she ended up with 40+ stitches in her hand😢❤. So Yes crafting is dangerous so be careful!
