Great suggestion for a video. I've personally been trying to transfer everything into labeled bins over the last year. I have smaller like $3 bins for smaller holidays like Valentines day, St Patty's day, 4th of July, Birthday stuff, and the larger, normal sized bins for Easter, Spring/Summer stuff, Fall/Thanksgiving decor, Christmas(-although this one takes up multiple, multiple bins and boxes still 😅)
I'd love to see how other RUclipsrs organize and store it all.

I was cleaning the parts machine I use for polymer clay and was not paying close attention. I slice 4 fingers on my right hand. I didn't realize I was gushing blood until I looked at my desk. I had to take a typing test at work for a promotion the next morning. Thankfully, I got the job.

Nice finds Bethany! The hot glue crafting disasters are the worst!!! Fall 2019 I was crafting and decorating at 2 am. I didn't realize glue from my HighTemp gun was dripping on the thigh of my jeans. When I felt the heat, I cut and ripped my Jean leg and let out an agonizing scream, wakng and terrifying my household. Thank God, though It blistered and scarred it eventually healed completely.

I've forgotten how often I have glued my fingers together. Hot glue gun burns are a common thing. The rotary cutter got me one day when I was cutting fabric, and I was using a quilting ruler. That hurt. I have frequently stitched my fingers when hand sewing. It is what it is.

Not my story, but a coworker was using a drimmel tool to put finishing touches on a Christmas ornament. The tip shot off and needed up in her eye, making her blind. I learned my lesson, always wear safety glasses.

LOVE your crafts and energy, Bethany!! I'd like to request that when you describe and show dollar tree items, that you PLEASE indicate what it they are MADE OF (i.e. if something is plastic, heavy acrylic, ceramic, or glass,...or for example in previous videos, if it's burlap, thin fabric, thick canvas, wood, or even like your frutti pepple wreath-was that PAPER , or think PLASTIC strips?? ANYTIME and ALWAYS if you can please more specifically describe the weight and FORMS of materials, that would sure help. On camera it's impossible to tell!! Keep up the great work! I have an old crafting(sort of)injury story! When I was a little girl(about 8 or 9 years old) I had a paper doll set that had little decorative pins to hold the clothes on and I was dressing the dolls while sitting on the floor and when I got up to do something I accidentally put my knee down on one of the pins and it was stuck in my knee. Now that I think about it that was a dangerous toy!😂 Sidenote: you had the blind bag clip twice in the video!❤😂❤

I found the brightening glow night moisturizer. I am definitely looking for more of this brand at DT because it is all natural ingredients and very good.

Love your channel Bethany! I’ve been following you for years. You can make different hair clips for Noel even if she doesn’t have a lot of hair by cutting off a piece of the ziplock from a plastic bag and use that as a base and just ziplock a little piece of hair. You can also use a tiny piece of Velcro. I used to work at Michael’s and made all the wreaths and centerpieces for the store. The glue gun would be on for hours and one day it went on fire. Never walk away from a glue gun when it’s plugged in. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas!

I was gifted a woodburning kit when I was about 9 years old. I was using it one day and you know you have to kind of push down a bit while you are moving it over your pattern. As I was pushing and moving it the woodburning tool slipped and stuck into my index finger of the hand holding the wood piece down. Burnt the crap out of my finger and had a huge blister. Needless to say, that was the last time I used a woodburner.

Thanks to my large Swingline guillotine paper cutter, while trimming photos, the blade came down on my finger!
I cut a large chunk off the tip of my left ring finger! OMG ~ Ouch!
It was so bad, I had to make a trip to the emergency room. It was so damaged, the doctor had to cut off what was left, because there was not enough skin to reattach by stitches.
I received a special type of occlusion bandage that helps new skin form, while stopping the bleeding.
Plus I had to get the TDAP vaccine, {Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis} combination. I ended up being allergic to the combination!
So for the next week, in addition to dealing with the finger injury and pain, I had to endure ocular migraines in both eyes, which caused my eyes to be wacky, seeing flashing black and white lines, along with abnormal vision, which prevented me from driving.
It took 2 months for my finger to heal completely. And it did not help that I am severely allergic to any form of adhesive bandages.
After I got home from the E.R. several hours later, I tightened the screw on my cutter. Lesson learned … scar and nerve damage appreciated.

Oh man me and glue guns 😂😂 I was crafting on my porch 3 years ago in the summer and had bare feet. I dropped a glob of hot glue onto my foot. I was in so much pain but I couldn't get it off because it eas too liquid to grab properly and it kept burning while it cooled. When I finally ripped it off, it took a plug of skin with it! A chunk in the shape of a circle came out. 😮 I still have the scar!

Bethany, the most important thing about treating a burn at home is, fisrt very cool and then😢😢😢 very cold water. Put the burned area under running water whenever possible. What you want to do is take the heat away from the the burn. DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF SAVLE as this holds the heat in. Keep burned area in cold water forever (jk). You'll need to have patience, depending on the size of the area, this can take a few hours. Keep the area in cold water until the area of skin not burned, gets too cold. Remove from water until you feel the burn again, then right back in cold water. Repeat as many time as needed till you don't feel the burn anymore. You'll need to keep the water cold by changing water/adding ice cubes. I'm an absolute crybaby when it comes to being burnt, this has worked for me several times. The worst burns i treated this way were steam burns to most of my right-hand. It took 5 hours doing exactly this, but when done, I had no pain, no scars or marks from the burn. Call it a miracle, call it science, either way, it worked. This needs to be taught to everyone.

I took the foam bunnies and eggs and painted them a chocolate color, and my grandsons thought they were real until they picked them up. Thanks for the info. I will have to see if any of these things are still at mine.

I'm so accident prone I couldn't begin to list all the ways I've injured myself while crafting! I tend to avoid anything involving sewing needles for that reason, I'm guaranteed to manage to hurt myself somehow, someway. Which is sad because I love bead-weaving! And I'm not hot gluing anything without at least one burnt fingertip LOL! 😅😂 Oh well, I still enjoy myself and I've made some awesome decorations if I do say so myself!

I love the jump rope sign. I'll have to make one. Those little potato heads (I call them tater tots) are like $3 at Big Lots. I've never seen them at DT.

Most cheap spray hose attachments work for a little bit but the don’t last long at all and start to leak

I have an idea on those large Easter eggs put them on some icicle lights you might have to put a spot of glue to hold them if you have them❤ outside

I was using a hot glue gun to finish up some crafts for my kids bizarre when I got hot glue on my finger between my wedding rings and it burned so bad and got the rings super hot. i had to have my rings cut and removed at the e.r. totally sucked. hope your burn gets better. ❤

Another thing you can use on the egg wreath are the tulips from the garland in the spring area. Those with the bunny end would be really cure.

Yes, those glue guns are dangerous! I fan-folded some paper to make a medallion. While I was holding all that fan folded paper into a flat circle (with lots of hot glue in the center), I lost my grip on the paper. It sprung up from the counter and hot glue got all over the palms of both hands. Very ouchy! Got a few blisters, but I conquered that paper anyway! I've always said it's a rule that E.V.E.R.Y. time you use a glue gun you have to burn yourself. Thanks for sharing all your ideas!

I was making a scrapbook once and sliced through my finger with a hobby knife when cutting paper. Luckily, it didn’t need stitches. Bethany, I love to watch you!

This didn't happen to me but it did happen to my aunt one year we are a family of crafters she cut herself with a rottery cutter and she ended up with 40+ stitches in her hand😢❤. So Yes crafting is dangerous so be careful!
