As a Sabers fan I wouldn't want Taylor Hall back. He under produce the first time playing with Eichel and Reinhart. He as stuck it to the Sabers with only wanting to go to Boston.
Hall is essentially a rental. Hall will be going to a team that is going to the playoffs because he is on an expiring contract. That said, it is possible he could go to the Devils in a trade. Chicago will have to keep some salary and could get a second in return and a prospect. Much depends on how well he plays up to the trade deadline.

I agree as a devils fan. He's too much of a prima donna in terms of how he wants to play. I think he's very overrated. Personally, I think Jack is much better. But we're going down on apples and oranges road. Keep Hall out of New Jersey. I would love to ship off palat and Dougie for Brady Hitchcock or Quinn Hughes but these are pipe dreams

As a Devils fan I wouldn't say he'd be my first choice but if come trade deadline other options are too expensive or snagged up by another team then at the right price Hall could be that scoring top 6 winger who pushes Palat down the lineup.
@yikesdude22 Since coming into the league they also have the same number of cups as all three of those franchises combined. Damn I can't believe I nearly forgot how much early November regular season points percentage mattered when the time comes at the end of the year, they only give cups out to teams with top 3 points percentage after all...

We shouldn't have even waited this long to address this, we've known all year going back to last year that we need more consistent scoring... very few teams actually make significant trades in November. Farabee, Vatrano, Ehlers, Brock Nelson should all be on the table!

If you told me in 17-18 season that our future team will be better off with Sefan Noeson returning instead of Taylor Hall, I wouldn't believe you.
