Thank you. I think most people will want to use the graphical user interface. In this case... If you want to use with the graphical interface, follow the steps of the link "wiki.octave.org/Octave_for_macOS" from: "Homebrew" onwards.

Hi! I'm getting 'error: cannnot link glib'; and if i try to unlink glib, it says 'error: permission denied @ unlink_internal - /usr/local/.../glib20.mo'. This happens when i type in terminal 'brew upgrade && brew update'. I'm using macOS Mojave, would appreciate any help.

I can't open .m in the package through cd. The error is xxx undefined in row 1, column 1. How to solve the problem?

If you want to run a .m file say "filename.m", then first make sure you are in that directory where that file is present, then you have to enter the parameters that the .m file requires, suppose I have a file that squares a number and its name is "square_this.m" then I have to type in terminal "square_this(5)" instead of "square_this.m", 5 is an argument here, that is passed to that file and the file will return 25.
