Used to obsess over his films as a teenager. This may help me get back to what I missed...
Luis Buñuel and David Lynch. Both masters in their work.
buñuel can't be compared to lynch
MY FAVORITE DIRECTOR EVER!!!!! Ughhh I own all of this now you make me wanna subscribe to see them at any time lol... btw I have two daughters their second names are, Tristana & Viridiana yup that’s how much of a fan of Don Luis Buñuel I am...
The best director ever, when with all the years he was not able to make what he wanted or even make anything at all
One of the greatest filmmakers of all time.
"Los Olvidados":MASTERPIECE.10/10.
WONDERFUL. 🖤
Where’s Los Olvidados, Él, Subida al cielo, La ilusión viaja tranvía, El Bruto, El Río y la muerte, Nazarín, Ensayo de un crímen... and you guys have Simón del Desierto (Simon of the dessert). His mexican films are the most interesting and radical.
Not all of them, but I do love Los Olvidados and La Ilusión Viaja en Tranvía.
Los Olvidados tal vez sea su mejor cinta (Maybe Los Olvidados is his best work).
I don't speak english very well, so forgive me if I make a mistake. Los Olvidados it's his best film. Ensayo de un crimen I see when I was a child and it's wonderful, the powrful of his images and the protagonist's performance it's other level.
The others are asome too. But, I only don't see Subida al cielo.
Luis Buñuel es español no mexicano. Luis Buñuel is spanish.
Sus mejores peliculas españolas: Viridiana, Tristana, El angel exteeminador... My favorite films spanish: Viridiana, Tristana, El angel exterminador...
I just saw 2 films from him and now i'm kinda obsessed

Looking forward for this! Rapid question: Is Buñuel acc a Spanish or french director? Some sources say that he is intrinsically Spanish and some that he couldn’t be more french...
Bunuel was Spanish but artistically he was French . Since, he was influenced by the surrealism which was cane into prominence in Paris
Spanish 90%, mexican 10%, french 0%
He is one of a kind born in Spain and heavily influenced by the Spanish culture and Catholic education in childhood although "he was still an atheist, thank God!", and also ask the experiences during his university time in Madrid, then went to Paris became a member of surrealist group for a while and was heavily influenced by the intellectual culture there. Went to Hollywood for a while and leaned a lot of techniques there, then exiled in Mexico. Never liked Mexico but made a lot of movies there, some of them are the best Mexican movies ever criticizing many aspects of modernization etc on Mexico's society. And then back to Europe for hours last six masterpieces.
So you can choose
So you can cost
Is spanish
He was Spanish and very much part of the anti-clerical tradition in that country. At the outbreak of the Spanish civil war (1936) he exiled himself to the U.S. then Mexico. His last films were done in France because that's where he could find financing at the time.
Does anyone know where the thumbnail is from?
What is the music name
What’s that one at 0:37

Luis buñuel es español... El. Que llevo el surrealismo más lejos que nadie en el cine... Además dirigió en México, Francia y Estados Unidos
