Both longshots and headshots are considerably easier if you use the "thermal sights and smoke grenade" combo. For maps that have players camping the center lane you can contest their line of sight by smoking the area before you line up your shot. Works almost everytime
It's not a skill issue, it's a skill based matchmaking issue, no matter how bad you are it will keep forcing you to play with people harder than you cause this game punishes its players

I thought the poly riot shield would be so bad but i ended up getting all 10 in one game on shipment, youd actually be surprised on how many people just ignore the fact theyre getting bashed in the back 3 times by a door, i get in pretty sweaty lobbies too
Same here, I was so surprised when the Poly completed challenge popped up. It also helps that people are always taking damage so it's not always a 3 hit kill. Sometimes it could be as low as 1 or 2 hits. However, if they have quick fix and are sitting on an objective, it'll take 4 to 5 hits.
I managed to get the riot shield and knife to platinum and honestly it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be that is if your playing on shipment but I think the real hard part is trying to get melee kills with both from behind so my only hope is to find some players that are afk which I think is pretty rare to happen
This is what I was going to say the melees were the easiet with the release of shipment. I feel like they put bots in at the beginning of matches until they find actual real players to fill the que.
As a former inspiring to be pro player on call of duty modern warfare, I can say that up I appreciate the time spend and the quality of your uploads. It is such a grind that i was going to get just the 20 weapons in my selection to platinum and give up. But i like that polyatonic look i am willing to keep going. I prefer it better than the orion skin. Your videos are just the encouragement i need.

Done with it.. the grind is actually getting all your guns gold. Once your ready for poly, those headshots are super easy in shipment.. you get so many done quickly. Before you know you have Orion. Also the shield, mele, and launchers don't take as long as you would think for plat, poly, or Orion, on shipment.
@@michaelguadarrama8594 play hardpoint or domination for launcher challenges. Definitely play the shipment playlist before they take it away. Most players are using that playlist to level up their weapons so (atleast in my experience) I was able to breeze through the launcher challenges. The double kills were plentiful lol
In MW2019 you could reduce you damage range to make your Longshot kill range shorter. Not sure if it is the same in MW2 but if so use weapon tuning and shorter barrels to make the range shorter.
I just got the camo I can finally play the game hehe the camo grind and not being able to play warzone or search because of camo grinding was crazy thank god I finished the camo grind before rank comes out I can enjoy it with my Orion camos
Appreciate the tips! Having Shipment 24/7 playlist has kept me going. I'm limited to a couple hours of gaming a night so it's taking a little longer than most, sitting at around 30 gold weapons right now (Dad life). This may work to my advantage as I'm not super pressed to finish this ASAP. If I complete the grind around Season 3 I'll be happy.
Getting polyatomic on the riot shield after the nerf wasn’t bad at all when I did it earlier today. It seems like the game is generous for what it counts as a kill from behind.

Personally for headshot kills, I came up with a plan to increasethe recoil on my gun and hipfire which is what I did with my chimera and I was shocked at how many headshot kills I got on Shipment.

For whatever reason if you get platinum on 51 guns and 4 of those are the dlc weapons for some reason you can get progress for both platinum and polyatomic simultaneously on the remaining base game weapons
Some of the SMG platinum grind was the worst part for sure, the damage falloff on a few of em makes it that way everything else just takes time and hoping you get the right maps and lobbies. Shipment was a lifesaver for short range weapons 👌🏼
I never finished the mastery camos in warzone 1 and mw/2019 so ever since mw2/wz2 came out I’ve been on a grind. I work full time so obviously it’s taking time. Got about half done now.
Using the semi-auto mode on ARs & LMGs helped me get them platinum pretty fast because it’s easier to control recoil. I’m skipping melee weapons so all I need now are the shotties, SMGs & pistols 😭
I loved this grind like I have for the last few years. My best tips for everyone this time around are that leveling is the longest part of it all. Then the next worst part is definitely the longshots this year. The best way to do everything this year is get a weapon category gold and then do the platinums. Nothing is worse than trying to do all the longshots at once and you will go insane. My final and best tip is that I like to do my worst weapons and categories first and then work my way to the best guns and categories I’m better with last. So I start with the terrible launchers, melee, and then shotguns every year. Then end on my best category which is assault rifles. Get the hard part out of the way first.
Best advice I got was do Launchers/Melee first. Then I do LMGS, Snipers, Marksman, Shotguns, Pistols, SMGs, and Finally ARs. For me it made more sense to do the “worst” guns first. Good luck everyone!
just finished my orion yesterday. all my longshots i completed in hardcore, not tier 1 with the exception of shotguns. those i completed on shipment as the map is bigger than the meters required for them. i thought the headshots would be more difficult but shipment made all 51 easy. so easy i completed them this weekend. i did not use any launchers or knives or riot shield to get orion.
4:55 i thought about doing it this way until i remembered you cant work on the platinum challenge till all 4 are gold. i went ahead and did the riot shield. its the only way to skip the launchers
Tier 1 with the SMGs and ARs made life super easy for longshots. Another helpful tip about Tier 1 is to turn your weapon to single shot. This worked wonders with SMGs and manages the recoil better than with any attachment.
Just finished longshots, after like 2 weeks of solid longshot grinding in tier 1. My game play style got wrecked. I need to get back to run and gun for the headshots. I will say it took me forever to get 10 platinums done. I got 10 polyatomics done in a day.
You have to skip an entire class of weapons because you have to get gold for the entire class for the platinum challenge to unlock. If you skipped 1 weapon like the riot sheild, you'd still have to get it gold in order to get your knife platinum.
For sniper headshots if you aren’t really good like myself, I recommend going to shoot house and just camping on either side of the maps where people camp and there’s always someone grinding camos it’s easy headshots since you only see their head
Truly recommend longshots for pistols and shotguns in shipment on tier 1. Bagra Palace is amazing too. The windows are always contested and also has 50+ meters for all guns
I'm all about the grind... but im a little disappointed with Orion camo polyatomic looks sooo good just to turn around and grind out Orion seems kinda meh so I'll be stopping the actual grind there and casually unlock it after appreciate the video! Keep up the great work
As of right now i have all Melee, Shotguns, Pistols and Launchers Platinum, Melee being most recent, oddly enough shield was easier than knife, got its gold and was one double kill away from plat in one game, knife took me 2 just for platinum done all on Shipment
Just got the game a few days ago, haven't played since mf 2019... Platinumed everything or obsidian or the Damascus I forget how it worked but definitely enjoying myself. I've maxed probably 10-11 guns already just playing shipment
I recommend for all players to take advantage of the next double xp weekend I played shipment non stop and focused on leveling everything up and now I’m getting the camos done
@@JR--15 sadly they don’t but also pay attention and if there’s a drop event for double xp on twitch, this also helps you earn double xp tokens. I left my computer on and I had it watching the CDL Stream and I earned so many tokens
AMEN! Shipments release with that double XP weekend propelled me from 18 golds to 30. Plus I had 15 either on the the gold challenge or maxed out . I could have easily maxed out the remaining 10 but wanted some golds and had my fill of shipment. It took 4, maybe 5 games, to max each gun was all. Crazy how easy it was. Wish I hadn't started on the weaker or harder guns for me (semi-auto) at launch.
yep! was able to grind out every gun through gold save a few launchers, finished the last ones up with a couple tokens and boom. that was a heavens sent event
to level up guns if you are good just play shipment it is the fastest way if you can get the most kills in the lobby or 2nd most kills also make use of the battle pass and focus on the 2xp tokens
something nice is that you can get platinum WITHOUT getting gold in weapons that have more options than the requirement for platinum. For exemple, I unlocked platinum chalanges for the assault rifle class without using the Lachmann 556. When I start to level it up, I can hit longshots and count for the platinum chalanges. That means that I can unlock platinum camo for a gun by having only 25 kills in it (on a perfect world)
I've been doing the platinum challenge for a while to get Polyatomic, I have 45 platinum in total, but when I go to polyatomic it tells me that I only have 44. What should I do?
You cant get one Launcher platinum without getting them all gold. You have to just skip the whole launcher category If you arent doing them all! You just need to do 4 extra guns in category's that you have plat unlocked in!
I run the spotter scope and use it to tell ranges, also when I get a kill I use it to tell the distance of said kill to see if I got a longshot or not in Tier 1, kinda makes me laugh like im confirming the kill lol
At some point during marksmen rifles , I started aiming with the white dot that’s all I pay attention to were that white dot is , able to get ridiculous 1 shots

At 7 days played I have 47 golds, with 6 of those platinum. I was more conscious of the camos this time than I was in 2019. But I'm 100% only focused on Orion. Only used an hour of double weapon XP and mostly played HP & DOM. Until that double XP weekend we had a few weeks ago...when I played mostly Shipment. Went from 18 golds to 30 with 15 fully ranked up or on the gold challenge before I just couldn't take shipment anymore. I'd rather play 6 or 8 games of Control or HP before I get the ten 3 killstreaks than get it in 2 games of shipment. If it takes me 15 days played, it takes me 15 days played.
The fastest way to level up guns: 1. Play shipment 24/7. 2. throw decoys as soon as you spawn every time. 3. use ddos as your field upgrade. 4. UAV, counter UAV, advanced UAV. with 2xp token its 2 games for full level without 4-5.
Everyone says you can start platinum but I didn’t think you could start platinum guns until you complete all the golds within that class set is that true?
For levelling weapons I put on 2x weapon XP and go into T1(hardcore) shipment and just fly over enemies. I usually get 12 - 14 levels per game but like with TAQ-V I levelled it up to max in a single match. Good luck boys
Tier 1 is amazing for longshots because everyone groups up at longshot farming spots basically begging you to pick them off one by one. Semi auto is your friend!
The longest part for me is maxing out all the guns. I did as much as I could during my he double XP even but still need to do most snipers, all shotguns, launchers and pistols to get them to max level before starting the camo grinds. It’s not much fun.
you can get gold on a weapon while you are leveling up .....by the time the weapon will be max level you will have gold unlock or left with just the triple kills without dying...
I got the camo already, it's the platinum camos that I still need because the game happens to glitch and say I don't have camoes unlocked even though I have Orion.
I started my camo grind *after* that double weapon xp stint they had and I was hoping they would do another one soon for those who got mw2 over the holidays. So I guess that evens things out

For all the headshots, I ran the canted laser on all the guns I could. It was all about aiming high and spraying.

For shotguns and pistols, Tier one shipment was SUPER easy for longshots. Usually took a match or a match and a half to finish each gun

4:50 If you want to even unlock the Plat you need to get all the lauchers gold in the first place. Just skip launchers.

I’ve found that DMZ is really good for levelling up yours guns if you have your insurance slot available.
Orion wasn’t a bad grind. The weapon charms are taking a while though. Should have my 3rd weapon charm sometime today though
My biggest issue is just getting everything fully leveled. Doing the camo challenges isnt that big of a deal for me, it's leveling up everything

As of right now i have all Melee, Shotguns, Pistols and Launchers Platinum, Melee being most recent, oddly enough shield was easier than knife, got its gold and was one double kill away from plat in one game, knife took me 2 just for platinum done all on Shipment
This is the easiest grind we have ever had and I’m not mad about it
Just got the game a few days ago, haven't played since mf 2019... Platinumed everything or obsidian or the Damascus I forget how it worked but definitely enjoying myself. I've maxed probably 10-11 guns already just playing shipment

I recommend for all players to take advantage of the next double xp weekend I played shipment non stop and focused on leveling everything up and now I’m getting the camos done

@@JR--15 sadly they don’t but also pay attention and if there’s a drop event for double xp on twitch, this also helps you earn double xp tokens. I left my computer on and I had it watching the CDL Stream and I earned so many tokens
AMEN! Shipments release with that double XP weekend propelled me from 18 golds to 30. Plus I had 15 either on the the gold challenge or maxed out . I could have easily maxed out the remaining 10 but wanted some golds and had my fill of shipment. It took 4, maybe 5 games, to max each gun was all. Crazy how easy it was. Wish I hadn't started on the weaker or harder guns for me (semi-auto) at launch.
yep! was able to grind out every gun through gold save a few launchers, finished the last ones up with a couple tokens and boom. that was a heavens sent event
to level up guns if you are good just play shipment it is the fastest way if you can get the most kills in the lobby or 2nd most kills also make use of the battle pass and focus on the 2xp tokens
something nice is that you can get platinum WITHOUT getting gold in weapons that have more options than the requirement for platinum. For exemple, I unlocked platinum chalanges for the assault rifle class without using the Lachmann 556. When I start to level it up, I can hit longshots and count for the platinum chalanges. That means that I can unlock platinum camo for a gun by having only 25 kills in it (on a perfect world)
I've been doing the platinum challenge for a while to get Polyatomic, I have 45 platinum in total, but when I go to polyatomic it tells me that I only have 44. What should I do?
You cant get one Launcher platinum without getting them all gold. You have to just skip the whole launcher category If you arent doing them all! You just need to do 4 extra guns in category's that you have plat unlocked in!

ironically i got the riot shield polyatomic done in one match in shipment, i was surprised thinking it would take me 10+ matches
I run the spotter scope and use it to tell ranges, also when I get a kill I use it to tell the distance of said kill to see if I got a longshot or not in Tier 1, kinda makes me laugh like im confirming the kill lol

The Pila, RPG and the Strela-P is all I have left to get the Orion camo. They seem to be the hardest to get the double kills with.
At some point during marksmen rifles , I started aiming with the white dot that’s all I pay attention to were that white dot is , able to get ridiculous 1 shots

I’m done got all 55 guns done in 7 day in game time. Just going for mastery now
At 7 days played I have 47 golds, with 6 of those platinum. I was more conscious of the camos this time than I was in 2019. But I'm 100% only focused on Orion. Only used an hour of double weapon XP and mostly played HP & DOM. Until that double XP weekend we had a few weeks ago...when I played mostly Shipment. Went from 18 golds to 30 with 15 fully ranked up or on the gold challenge before I just couldn't take shipment anymore. I'd rather play 6 or 8 games of Control or HP before I get the ten 3 killstreaks than get it in 2 games of shipment. If it takes me 15 days played, it takes me 15 days played.

I got gold platinum and poly on the riot shield “after nerf” and it wasn’t that bad
Icl when I got the riot shield and knife platinum they were surprisingly quite easy. Smg longshots nearly broke me 💀

The fastest way to level up guns:
1. Play shipment 24/7.
2. throw decoys as soon as you spawn every time.
3. use ddos as your field upgrade.
4. UAV, counter UAV, advanced UAV.
with 2xp token its 2 games for full level without 4-5.
Everyone says you can start platinum but I didn’t think you could start platinum guns until you complete all the golds within that class set is that true?
Noxy_assist3 got me everything unlock permanently including camos and tools with level up weapons and without getting detected.

As for sights, ARs, BRs, DMRs should all have the toggle 4x zoom for Angel sight.
Currently I still gotta level stuff but I'm kinda going back and forth between camos and leveling to make it not so unbearable
As soon as I got the game I started grinding for orion camo just finished it yesterday and only have 4 days playtime.
Nice! Same here. But it took me a little over 5 days of playtime.
For levelling weapons I put on 2x weapon XP and go into T1(hardcore) shipment and just fly over enemies. I usually get 12 - 14 levels per game but like with TAQ-V I levelled it up to max in a single match. Good luck boys

Fun fact on gold: I had two kills of my streak, and the match ended. Loaded into next match, got my first kill: challenge was done.
Just finished orion on Christmas day. Snipers were a pain both for headshots and longshots.
I got the marksman and sniper rifles done all in Ground War and Invasion.

Random and probably unrelated and perhaps a bug but apparently longshot for launchers is somewhere around 30 meters. Atleast with the jokr anyways

@@richardvrolijk1606 I only played hardcore on MW2019 and Vanguard and camo grinded for both. Tier 1 is nothing like it.
Tier 1 is amazing for longshots because everyone groups up at longshot farming spots basically begging you to pick them off one by one. Semi auto is your friend!
It'd not hard, but very time consuming and have to camp for some of the camos.
The longest part for me is maxing out all the guns. I did as much as I could during my he double XP even but still need to do most snipers, all shotguns, launchers and pistols to get them to max level before starting the camo grinds. It’s not much fun.

you can get gold on a weapon while you are leveling up .....by the time the weapon will be max level you will have gold unlock or left with just the triple kills without dying...
I've been using groundwar to grind for platinum it's slow but consistent
I got the camo already, it's the platinum camos that I still need because the game happens to glitch and say I don't have camoes unlocked even though I have Orion.

I started my camo grind *after* that double weapon xp stint they had and I was hoping they would do another one soon for those who got mw2 over the holidays. So I guess that evens things out

Poly is honestly so nice and I love that you can complete it on whatever you want and call it quits if you'd like and don't want to go the whole way

I reccomend getting the melee and snipers/marksman out the way first, they’re the most annoying
