That is the privacy indicator. It’s letting you know when the mic is in use. It’s a good thing!

@@TheJoeFosterShow me too. iOS and OS X have strong protection but it doesn’t mean they are 100% resistant to viruses or malware, they’re just much more harder at infiltrating. Look at Pegasus. Look at those spammy calendar links.
