Everyday Reviews Thanks again for yet another great review. The RS7 is a beautiful sports sedan both inside and outside. I particularly love the carbon fiber trims on the inerior. However, I still don't think this car is as comfortable to drive like as the BMW M6 Grand Coupe. And for $130,000.00, I am going with the Tesla Model S P85D. Thanks again.
tmat04 What we need is comfort and ride of the M6, the acceleration of the Tesla and the interior and styling of the Audi. I do however love the styling of the 6 Grand Coupe.
Everyday Reviews I love the styling of the M6 Grand Coupe also. But all three sedans are beautifully designed. Personally, I think the Tesla has the best looking rear of any sedan.
I'm loving this guys reviews sooo much! I've only watched two videos and your delivery is spot on and your video quality is phenomenal. Am I reading this right... you have 5000+ subscriber
Great review man. It's refreshing to see a practical car review in real-world scenarios. Not many consumers have access to race tracks like some of the other car reviewers and their reviews tend to lose site of what most people want to know about these new cars. Keep up the great reviews!
Dude, you rock for considering the "family" portion! Looks like the A/S/RS 7 fits babies better than my Prius ;-) I haven't seen your other reviews, but, please continue to include the "family compare" section. Very useful for a guy who wants to buy a Porsche/Vette/R8/GTR but must be able to carry a family too.
Thanks. It's reality. Lots io buyers have families and will carry people more than going to the track. Thanks for watching and please do check out my other reviews.
Great video! The RS7s are very underated from Audi for some reason. A few tests have shown that bone stock cars pushing around 540 awhp, that is at the wheels!!! With average losses in the 20% due to the torque converter automatic and the permanent awd, the cars are pushing ways more than 600 bhp... BTW factory stock they can run in the 11.4s.... That is a car with driver weighting 4800 lbs!!!
Everyday Reviews We germans do that because we pay taxes which are dependent on the HP the car makes, so our manufacturers underrate the HP of the cars to save us some tax money.
What a nice car. Too bad it's the same price as a brand new 3bd 2ba single family home with almost a full acre of land where i live. lol. I'd love to go test drive one.
Obviously this car is a whole class better than the hellcat, it's a luxury performance car but for 2x the price of the top of the line hellcat I'd say the hellcat is a better bang for the buck if you really are keeping it on the street at the laws of the road the cars are going to feel very similar. Now pushed to the limits the Audi may preform better but again better enough to justify 2x the price that's up to you, 2 great cars with 2 different type of buyers!
Why were two cars used in this review? Seems you didn't have access to outside cameras in this. The one you had was light grey and licensed in the US. The one with the exterior roadway views was dark blue and registered in Europe. You have reviewed all three of my target cars now. This one, Tesla P90D, Cadillac CTS-V, all 2016s. You have praised all, understandably and deservedly. Each has their own desires and preferences, of course, but as someone with plenty of experience with feeling cars, would be interested in your comparative thoughts.
+Christopher Jones I was on my own for this review so couldn't drive and film myself at the same time. For all out acceleration, Tesla P85D hands down. Refinement and style - RS7, track fun - CTS-V. They all drive incredibly well and have very good road manners for everyday drivers. I was only able to drive the CTS-V for a few hours but at least I was able to test out more of it's limited on a track. The other 2 were strictly road tests. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
+Everyday Reviews Thank you for the quick response. In your videos, you had said you really liked the exterior aesthetics of the Tesla (I would be opting for the P90 for greater range, and the Ludicrous mode, which you haven't tested yet). But it's probably the underwhelming interior, especially compared to these two others which took styling away. On acceleration, you had commented on the impracticality of the Audi for being a ticket magnetic. Then the Tesla should have same concerns, but wasn't mentioned as the same detraction per your review. And given the Cadillac was the only car you could stretch out, naturally the "track fun" could only go there. There's no reference point for the others. You never answered on the Tesla suspension. In spite of having the executive package, did you have the base suspension vs the advanced air suspension? Trying to compare with Cadillac's magnetic shock system. Audi's all-wheel drive traction is known for high speed tracks. I think the Cadillac would have the legs on it, though. But Ludicrous mode Tesla is without an acceleration equal in sedan trim. I also concern myself with fit and finish and interior insulation from noise. Thanks again.
Grant Jones First, it is spelled, "Hellcat", not hell cat. Second, Ferrari F40 beat the 200 mph speed in 80s. There is nothing special about Hellcat or any other muscle car.
Grant Jones It has a lower 0-60 mph than a Nissan GTR with 485 hp. When you have to improve power, it means engineering has failed. Good engineering takes you far.
+Aaron Su Yes, correct. The A/S/RS7 competes with the CLS. As a diehard Mercedes fan, and as much as I like the CLS, I'd would actually buy a 7 over it.
Really nice review, but... are you sure that the transmission on the Audi RS 7 Sportback isn't an 8-speed Tiptronic??? Single-clutch robotized transmission on an Audi???
Major insult to call this the german hellcat. I destroyed a hellcat (he was half way when I finished) in a half mile event this weekend with my RS7. :)
The Rs7 is one of the most beutiful cars. However, its pretty hard to justify buying this when the charger/challenger hellcat and even z06 can be half the price
+Pearceman95 We all know it's not poised against a Hellcat but in terms of actually using the power, the RS7 allows you to use it year round regardless of location. Not so with the Hellcat. The creature comforts, ride quality, etc. are a much much better blend of luxury and performance than the Hellcat too.
+ms3er that's a good argument Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system is one of the best in the winter and you can't even compare that to a hellcat's ability in winter, but then again if you have $140,000 to spend on a car I would hope you have enough to buy a winter beater so that amazing car doesn't get ruined by the salt and other things put on roads in the winter!
Benjamin Phillips Haha! Yeah, I would hope so too but really, if you've not driven a S4 or better in the snow at least once, you're missing out. Literally just point and go. My point however wasn't just about snow though. Cold roads or even summer rain. The RWD Power of a Hellcat or CTS-V, etc. is no where near able to be enjoyed like that of the Audi. Zero worries about getting on mine in those conditions. In fact it's more fun :)
With excessive speeding the cops can auction off your car too.. Imagine losing a $100,000 sports car because you left your foot on the gas for 2 seconds
Dee Jay I know, its quite ridiculous. I've seen cops call it street racing for someone going 157KMH on the freeway in an exotic car. Speeding, yes but hardly racing.
Everyday Reviews That's just...wow...And to think that authorities can actually take your property away cause they think you're "misusing" it is really ridiculous. Plus, let's be serious...Speed limits are really outdated today, especially on the highway. You can't tell me that these cars today can't handle speeding at 100 AND braking very effectively without being safe.
hm, in germany the RS7 is only marginal cheaper than a Corvette Z06. Drove the C7 and i would definately go with the Z07 and 650 horses which will smoke our ne Nobles AUDI´s driver .
EuroSpeed this is a luxury sedan which is s completely different market than the hellcat which is basically a car with tech from 2008 with a giant engine
theonlyexpert lol who would down the earth think to make paddle shifters of plastic for safety reasons? that makes not a darn bit of a sense at all, and I'm pretty sure you pulled it off your ass too because it just absolutely sounds ridiculous :D
Everyday Reviews indeed:) a plastic of anything in any car is obviously just to save money, manufacturing time and keep the car in its initially planned budget range, otherwise anything in plastic could of have been made from premium materials which would feel and look better indeed, most 70k+ cars these days have carbon/metal shifters, and btw! RCF is a quite nice ride, enjoy your time with it man:) subed your channel!
Ram Simon While you're at it, lets make the whole front dash and steering wheel cover metal too, so with a headon, you'll see the difference harder materials make. But, with your reasoning style and demeanor, you're barking up the wrong tree guy.
Well, if the emphasis is on the FAMILY hauler, then the Charger Hellcat is the best. Sure, the others are German and more refined, have better handling, but again, they all have way more than necessary power, AND the Charger is much roomier for the family. BTW, this is my humble opinion NOT based on which one I'd rather drive, because I really don't care about driving a large car, no matter the badge or origins.
I thought that female in the parking lot was for sure going to hit the side of the RS7. I cringed and it isn't even my car. Great review. Great car.
Matt Lady You and me both man! I was like " what the hell are you doing, controll that door,",
Love this review. It's the most practical, day to day relevant review out there
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Cheers

Hahaha, 174mph and not getting caught. That's the buzz my friend. That's the buzz!!!
Great review, and as a dad of a now 32 year old, I sorely miss the toddler years, your daughter is adorable. A well informed review, good job!

Love the 7! One of my favorite Audis!
I pray they don't ruin it when it comes time to redesign!
Love the colour.

Wow, I'm torn between this and the cls63 AMG or the M6 or B6 alpina. All phenomenal, all crazy
Great review of an awesome car! The performance and interior is stunning

kouzman I hear that BMW does the same as their M cars are way underrated as well.
Everyday Reviews We germans do that because we pay taxes which are dependent on the HP the car makes, so our manufacturers underrate the HP of the cars to save us some tax money.
Is an 8 speed torque converter auto not single clutch
Outstanding review! Keep up the good work.
It's not a "single clutch" it's a torque converter. Same transmission from the S8 and others.
audiworld1 Yes, you are correct. Thank you
not sure if i dig the color but different strokes for different folks I guess. Car still awesome.

Well the blue one is registered in "Ingolstadt". Audis town :)
It is not always about power, but power delivery. This car will eat a Hellcat even though it has less horsepower.
nothing beats American muscle. the hell cat can top 204mph.
Grant Jones First, it is spelled, "Hellcat", not hell cat. Second, Ferrari F40 beat the 200 mph speed in 80s. There is nothing special about Hellcat or any other muscle car.
Well the Hellcat is only 65000$ dollars. How much is that Ferrari?
Grant Jones It has a lower 0-60 mph than a Nissan GTR with 485 hp. When you have to improve power, it means engineering has failed. Good engineering takes you far.
True but to get it you have to double the price of the Hellcat. The main reason its a half a second faster is because it is lighter.
Audi makes awesome cars, love their fit and finish. Only thing this gray color makes it look like a State Police car.
+Frank Biz how does it look like a police in gray? it looks just like a civilian car
+Renzee White In Rhode Island, USA, that is the color of the State Police cars.
Isn't RS 7 competes with CLS 63? Not E63?
Aaron s Yeah the RS 7 competes directly with the CLS 63 AMG.
That's what I thought too man
+Aaron Su Yes, correct. The A/S/RS7 competes with the CLS.
As a diehard Mercedes fan, and as much as I like the CLS, I'd would actually buy a 7 over it.
tom,nice response!
Very nice Review. An RS7 in Nardogrey. .... but I prefer the RS6 in Phantomblack. :-)
Exhaust tip? That is just a channel through the bumper.
Nice review
good review
I would sell both my kidneys to have a go on this!
Are you in the Vancouver BC area? Or even in Surrey BC?
S7 has a DCT, RS7 has a standard automatic.
Really nice review, but... are you sure that the transmission on the Audi RS 7 Sportback isn't an 8-speed Tiptronic??? Single-clutch robotized transmission on an Audi???
+Alberto Michelatti It is the 8sp ZF... not a DSG
nice car
Audi please make an RS8!! the S8 is already a monster that kills super cars. lets see it attack something bigger.
Disappointed it doesn't have the cluster like the 2016+ TT S, S4, etc.
Nardo Gray, right?
That's correct.
what happened to the BMW M5 or M6
I wish these reviews were done by taller people so I could see better if I could fit.
Finally! A guy who pronounces "Porsche" right :D (No, its not called Porsch :D)
Major insult to call this the german hellcat. I destroyed a hellcat (he was half way when I finished) in a half mile event this weekend with my RS7. :)
Dostum Gayet Başarılı... Burak FARIMAZ olarak Başarılar...
Lol did you notice the hit ride trying to race him

3:07 watch your door lady!!!!!!!
130K ? goddamn....might as well save up and go for a ferrari
was this a 2015?
like the RS6 Avant much more ... same Power more Space
Did anyone notice he used 2 rs7 in the video? A grey one and a blue one. :)
Probably filmed on different days.
brandonwagner2123 one car has ontario plate and the other has an european plate. definitely two videos.
Where was the M5... Surely that deserves a mention... It's a better drivers car than all the RS Audi's?
Mohammed Shafi Should be M6
No one is going to Ikea with that car lol.

clark kent LOL you're funny.
clark kent The Charger eats shit? is that a good thing... I guess not if it spits it out.
Nice response!
Nice response!
Nice response!
You forgot about the M5
Is the colour sport classic grey?
Nardo grey.
That you. I absolutely love this color.
RS7 top speed in the U.K. is 200MPH
Looks baller as shit but a bit out of my price range.
Prefer the RS6 Avant. Especially one tuned by MTM.
what color is that? wow
Nardo Gray
Please make some research before you do a review. You can seat 5 people in the RS7 if you opt for the middle extra seat.
m5 ?
hm, in germany the RS7 is only marginal cheaper than a Corvette Z06.
Drove the C7 and i would definately go with the Z07 and 650 horses which will smoke our ne Nobles AUDI´s driver .
I doubt you'd shop at ikea if you drive and call your RS7 a family car
Nathan Flowers Sure, you'd shop at Ikea to furnish all your rental properties :)
it should be benz cls63 not e63
didn't know Canada was a dictatorship, take your license permanently? wow
That grey color looks like what they use on the body of navy ships. Bad ass. What's the name of that color?
Called destroyer grey
single clutch for $110k.... hmmmm.
GTR anyone?
I see some Chrysler 200 similarities on the exterior.
They may sell 10 if they are lucky at that price when the real hell cat will blow past it
EuroSpeed this is a luxury sedan which is s completely different market than the hellcat which is basically a car with tech from 2008 with a giant engine
Hate the rear of audis, great front grille but cheap looking rear on all their cars...upgrade your rear audi...
That's the best part
It's perfect to slap a spoiler onto it :)
Did you really just put a Cadi up against Audi/Merc/Porsche??
+john Baldock New Cadillac CTS-V is quite amazing. Really nice car.
paddleshifters are plastic for safety reasons, imagine being in an accident and having a metal paddle fly into your face.
Makes sense. Just feel cheap and there are a lot of other manufacturers that use metal for their wheel shifters.
theonlyexpert lol who would down the earth think to make paddle shifters of plastic for safety reasons? that makes not a darn bit of a sense at all, and I'm pretty sure you pulled it off your ass too because it just absolutely sounds ridiculous :D
Ram Simon I have a 2015 Lexus RCF with metal paddles right now. So many others have metal paddles including Porsche so yes, I agree with you Ram

Drool......!
Stopped watching when he called it a German muscle car... What an utter insult!
Those wheels 😖
Those rims look stupid on that RS model. TOo "Bulky" design.
that color yuck, btw this is facelifted for 2016 model
not my taste. those wheel doesn't look too good.
Can easilyyyyy change them man !!
+bilal amani why can't I easy buy a different brand like lexus.
Dislike tooo big ill take a benz
rather get a tesla p85d
Hellcat will destroy this car for 1/2 the price...!!
The color and wheels ruins the car
Oscar L. I agree as well. I've seen the car in red and it was stunning.
Oscar L. yup. not much of a taste in this one
Beautiful color. Horrible rims
