    Hey Lique, I'm so glad to see you have a roof over your head and somewhere to stay.
    I see at least 5 comments in the comments section that offer very practical, sensible, do-able, potentially life saving advice.
    1. from E Roxanne S
    "Lique, as a physician and someone who struggled with eating disorders (including traumatic experiences with forced treatment in my childhood) I want to tell you:
    If you want to live, you need to contact an emergency centre of a clinic and tell them you want to get refed. They cannot decline you. You ARE dying and if your will is to live this is an emergency. They must treat you.
    Dear strong and gorgeous Lique, your only responsibility is to make this decision. The remaining responsibilities you have to give away and trust that others will take care. And they will.
    I don't know anything about what you went through, but I know that the decision to give responsibility away can be more than hard. If there is anything I can do (I'm in Germany, not Netherlands but still...), please contact me 🙏
    Again: to me what you can and should do is call the emergency, tell them you are dying (because you are) and you want to live and can't save yourself (because you cannot).
    They must treat you to save you."
    * Contact E Roxanne S
    2. from Terriann:
    "So good to see you. Tell the people renting your home they need to get out. Of course you have a contract but ask them nicely to break the lease early. You had no way of knowing what the future brought. Surely they could understand that." 🙏🏻❤
    *I'm sure that legally you would have an argument to be able to ask them to leave before the contract expires in "extreme circumstances"
    3. from Minttu Maaria:
    "You should try coming here to Finland! We have free healthcare and I believe that it's really affordable to foreigners. I wish you so much strength! You've got this! I'll keep praying for you and may God help and bless you

      Totally with you on this. I had bad eating issues for 15 years. People said I wouldn't recover. But you need to WANT to ! I was admitted here in Australia and made friends with people on the ward dying of incurable genetic illness, and It snapped me into wanting to live. Here I was wanting to die willing and they were dying through no fault of their own. I began intense therapy and now healed !

    Lique,I am an anorexia survivor so I say this to you with great respect and love...you need to begin eating more.Small soft meals.You are exhausted because you are not eating enough.Your caloric intake is too low and you as a rational adult know that.You need to thrive ,put this disease to rest.You are better than anorexia,You and only you can change this scenario.Now is the time to dig deep and rise above the fear of food.It is not the enemy,it will be your savior. Your recovery is as simple as one sandwich,one extra pudding,one glass of milk,one piece of cheese ...one at a time,build that body back into the strong woman that I see there fighting to get out.C'mon girl! This is the time to gather all your strength,see yourself in a different light.You are not that sick girl hoping to make it one more month,you are Lique...woman who will reach deep inside and slay this beast that is anorexia.! Please listen to me ,it will save your life.❤

      I gotta second this. I’m still in one of the worst relapses of my life and it happened when I thought I had to lower my intake after “recovering too much” even though I was happy and getting well. More food will never hurt you if you have AN or even just a history of it. Keep on eating, love

      This is such a sweet, encouraging comment from a survivor! I have never been anorexic, but I do have experience fasting for faith reasons, and I know how it can be physically difficult to eat (aka re-feed) after periods without food-so I can only imagine how hard it would be for the body to assimilate food in the case of severe anorexia. One food I've found that is very easy to digest and assimilate after fasing is organic applesauce, even in large quantities. I don't know if Lique likes organic applesauce, but I thought I'd throw that out there as something that is easy to digest that could help prepare her body for other heavier foods. Yogurt (whole, not low-fat) is another good food that is quite easy to digest.

      @@liquefaith Good for you ! I am so glad you called. This is what I was saying in another comment. I have severe malnutrition, and sometimes my potassium, magnesium, and calcium crashes (short bowel syndrome), and when that happens your heart can suddenly stop...same with anorexia as you know. I go straight to the emergency room and they have to take me (and they do). They admit me and treat me. I think this is your answer. I don't see how they can say they won't take you...it is a medical emergency. It shouldn't matter what the cause is, its life threatening. I think you should just go there, they can't turn you away if they see your condition after doing your vitals.

    I’ve been thinking about your situation a bit. I have me/cfs and as a result also have a special diet and am very limited in what I can do in the kitchen. I’m on my own here for a couple of weeks while my husband and son visit grandparents for the first time in 2+!years. My mom helped cook some meals that can be frozen in single servings. I take them out of the freezer the night before and microwave them with what I call disabled food (lol)-ready made brown rice cups, steam-in-the-bag veggies etc. I also eat a lot of gluten-free bagels with hummus and fresh pre-cut veggies. Or gf toast with peanut butter and banana. Someone else suggested applesauce and that sounds like such a great idea. I’m not sure what foods your diet includes but diarrhea every day can’t be good for your body or weight gain. If I were able-bodied and in your area I would love to help prepare some meals according to your diet that can be frozen in individual portions for you but sadly I am neither of those things. Is this something that might work for you, and is there a friend or family member who might be able to help? ♥️

      This is totally helpful! I will try to arrange this too. Don’t mind eating same meals if someone could make a big pan and freeze it into portions. Will think about who I could ask. On her channel she tells her recovery story and methods how she has regained her health and her life. I know it will not help you to find a place to stay but maybe will be a source of hope, power and inspiration.

      I think the exercise is crucial personally. I didn’t have anything like this level of anorexia but I defo had some disordered eating and terrible self image when I was modelling. Whenever you see recovery programmes they just put people on high calorie foods and don’t let them work out and I think gaining weight like that is going to make people feel worse about their body and also that element of control is gone. Weight training and nutrition programmes allows the weight to go back on nicely and the person still can have that level of control of building their body in the gym/ a nutrition plan to follow etc. Obviously not a professional health care worker but it just always made no sense to me to just push people to eat unhealthy high calorie foods and not exercise to aide recovery.

    As someone who had severe ED as this lady has. simply eating isnt an option. you cannot just eat normally to help this. refeeding is recommended and i know as ive done it also. you do it slowly as eating a large amount will cause pain especially if you have an added intestinal disorder which she has. commenting eat pizza and eat a sandwich for someone who has experienced refeeding myself that is not sustainable. during refeeding your intake is limited to prevent pain and extra discomfort. it also can be done with various drinks. my refeeding was with toddler food and milkshakes and also soft foods. i did not eat pizza. ive had a serious ED since 2010 i am now at a decent place in my recovery to be able to withstand meals. for months i could not. i had ready brek i had yoghurts and sort foods. actually for my recovery to this stage i have eaten just fruit, yoghurt, ready brek, ice cream and only soft foods including milk shakes and baby puddings. so those stating she just needs to eat 3 meals a day for a cure, total nonsense, eating will give her severe pain. ive felt that to. my bmi was 15.9 and i did not have her intestine condition. she is trying her best. she wants to recover thats enough for me to be here and support her and HER choices. sending love to you, i only just managed to recover enough to not be on the danger of organ failure list. i have EDNOS.

    I honestly have no experience with anorexia, but what you said about connecting one person’s experience with another makes me just want to share a lesson I’m learning, that new habits are so daunting to take on because it’s hard to commit to the idea of practicing them for the rest of your life. We are easily tempted to go back to old habits because they are the habits we have, and what make us comfortable. However I really think the way our brains work with forming new habits is it may be uncomfortable in the beginning, but becomes the new normal and becomes effortless. So I would say don’t try eating more thinking that it’s going to be this hard every single time. Instead it’s just a change that is only going to be temporarily uncomfortable, but it will go away once this change becomes a habit and the new normal.

No one has put you in your position other than yourself for whatever reasons they may be (and as I have already said I’m sorry that you find yourself in this position) but from where I’m sitting people have gone beyond the call of duty to assist you e.g. allowing you to stay in a hospice when you are not terminally ill and then somebody very kindly allowing you to stay in their home while they’re away….and all you can do is moan about it not having the right food or wheelchair access. Perhaps some gratitude rather than playing the victim all the time would be more helpful to your mental well-being. I wish you all the best and hope you make a full recovery.

      People with anorexia and other addictions are manipulative and controlling. There is probably a lot of burnt bridges with her family etc. people eventually have to disengage for their own mental health. If she is “alone” there is a reason. Even now she wants financial support to continue in her addiction without accountability. The same as any other person deep in addiction. She has been in and out of treatments for years, she knows what to do to get help and what she needs to do to gain weight. She was released from hospice, which makes it clear there were issues there as well. This type of “gaming the system” is common, eat just enough to stay alive but not enough to truly recover and face the emotional work and take on adult responsibility. This is similar to an addict who wants to be cared for while still using.

    The faith is also not to "fight" the flow of life. There are two sacred moments in life, birth and death. Awaken the spark of your heart, live moment by moment. There is no rush to survive or to die. I've been by the side of many who have passed on to the "other" side. Some are at peace, some are angry, some are sad, some are confused, some are afraid but those who count every breath as a blessing, every heart beat as a blessing, the pain and fear become a background stage set. I live with constant pain, at a level of 7-9 from 10, energy is low and many other challenges. Yet, a singing bird is a joy, cool clean water on my hands and face are the best pleasure of the moment and having a roof over my head is my sacred castle and my "lonely" moments became moments of sacred saluted. When my last breath comes, I will welcome the end of my tiered and worn out body. I'll be grateful for this small moment in time and space for me to have experienced life as a form of "miracle" and I was lucky to see, feel, taste, witness and even experience pain and death as my friends who came to liberate me from this heavy and needy human mind and body. The cycle of life is lovely! Peace be with you, for you are not just your body, these are your sacred moments that every human must experience ❤️🦋. Make it a ceremony, a sacred time to witness something society doesn't want you to ponder. Start eating. You know that you need to take in calories. Certainly you have been told what liquid meals and other foods you should be taking in. If you cannot do that, why not get a nasogastric tube dropped in (not pleasant but also not difficult) and go on a feeding pump? Just let it drip in slowly all around the clock. Worst case, take a cab to the local emergency room, with whoever you signed over medical decisions and let them put you inpatient and get on TPN for a bit then a gtube. (You said in an earlier comment that you signed medical decisions over to someone else) where are they? Homecare visits are only enabling you to keep spiraling down. You have to give control over to someone who is not emotionally involved that can make decisions. A homecare nurse can drop in a feeding tube and set up the pump for you. Your life is really at risk and without a drastic move I fear that you will not make it.

    I commented on a previous video so I hope you see this. Two suggestions: contact a church. They may have members in their congregation that would love to help. A nunnery may even take you in. Secondly, search for expat/student grouos. There are a lot of foreigners who have time or unemployed that could offer a lending hand. Also, the red cross. They may have volunteers!

    • @liquefaith
      @liquefaith  2 года назад

      Church doesn’t help. Dont have much contacts there anymore since Corona. But the ones I contacted said that they don’t offer help to non members 🙄 Because they already have not many volunteers… but I will search for the students, thanks for the tip! 👍🏻🙏🏻

    can you drink some nutritional shakes that have protein, fats and carbohydrates and vitamins and minerals? I would think it would be easy in your stomach. If you could drink one a day between meals until you are used to it and then two a day and wait until its comfortable, etc.
    you can get better!!

    Have you thought of recording a few videos in Dutch so that you raise awareness of your situation among the people who are in your reach and can actually help? Or maybe trying to contact some local news outlets so that they write an article or something.

    So good to see you. Tell the people renting your home they need to get out. Of course you have a contract but ask them nicely to break the lease early. You had no way of knowing what the future brought. Surely they could understand that. 🙏🏻❤️

    • @melissademarco5271
      @melissademarco5271 2 года назад +4

      I was thinking this as well. Clearly due to this dire situation these tenants can break the lease or at the very least shorten the time frame and give them time to find another residence. I feel as though we are not getting all the information to this story. I had a friend years ago who had this condition and EVERYONE in her life bent over backwards to help her for literally YEARS. After a while people have to move on with their own lives given that this condition can and does persist, especially when the person refuses to break their self-destructive habits and behaviors. My prayers are with her but also with her family and friends who are probably devastated by this horror that they must watch till the end. Prayers to all!!😿

      I agree. If you give them (I think it is 2 months notice), it is in the UK anyway. then the tenants would have time to find another rental place so you can move back into your place but obviously in the meantime you need somewhere to stay

    Please don't mind these shitty people who are most likely trolling on your comments. It seems popular these days to persecute people with severe illnesses who're reaching out for help online, because of a couple of rotten apples and conspiracy theories. Those people who say you're after attention don't understand anything about your illness and what kind of help you need.

    You have such a good mindset, when you talk about eating I sometimes forget briefly that you have an ED. I had an ED, mostly bulimia, for so long. I really think you will recover, it's just compounded by your medical problems. Brighter days are ahead of you. You deserve the best things in your life. xxx

    Hospices are for terminal patients who are ill from no choice of there own you are choosing this it is your choice so to be honest you’re not terminally ill. Before anyone jumps on my back I’ve had a lot of problems and dealt with them my own way not killing myself on purpose. I know I sound harsh but it’s you tube were all allowed our opinions good luck with it all

    • @branypoo
      @branypoo 2 года назад +4

      Um yeah you do sound harsh. Angelique is in quite a predicament. She has been left behind by a healthcare system in need of refinement. Specific criteria and standard protocols have left her without a place to be cared for. Her situation is dire. If you watch her previous videos, you’ll understand more about why she was in hospice. I have my own health problems too, but you could show some respect and humanity for another, not be so careless with your remarks. We all have pain, and everyone’s pain matters.

    • @sharonplant4102

      You need to be careful as your killing her with kindness it’s not me being harsh it’s everyone like you agreeing with her it’s killing her. She needs to get it into her head she’s committing suicide you need to stop being to nice as these sort of people thrive on attention that’s why she’s doing it.

      ED is a mental illness. You don't choose it anymore than saying someone with MS chose to have MS.
      She also has an intestinal illness that started before her ED and now has bone marrow issues.
      She has multiple illnesses.
      All which are very difficult to treat nevermind if they are congruent.
      Anorexia is a mental health illness that is extremely difficult to treat and has the highest mortality rate.
      She didn't chose this.
      Also, hospice is for anyone sick enough to qualify.
      By your logic, if someone went skiing and broke their back and ended up a paraplegic, they wouldn't qualify.
      That's messed up on your part.
