When I pass from my terminal cancer I too want my parents to continue to live their lives. Dan would be happy that you both are doing that.

He was a total credit to you, a sterling young man, strong, handsome, charismatic, intelligent I literally cannot say enough good about your son. To know him was to love him. Amazing parents who raised three incredible sons. I am a parent who lost a 24 yo daughter but in a different circumstance. You are strong and beautiful people and I wish only the best for you as you travel this difficult road.

While I didn't come across Dan's channel until after his passing, I was intrigued by his story and I grew to adore him. I admired his positivity and strength during his struggle with cancer. To continue his RUclips channel is such a beautiful tribute to Dan. The pain of losing a loved one never goes away, but you learn to live with it and become stronger because of it. As someone who has followed his story for quite some time, his passing was heartbreaking, as he seemed like such a genuine man with a love of life. Dan taught me how I should be living, helped me through my many bouts of depression, and made me smile on days that just didn't seem worth it. I am grateful to have witnessed even a fraction of the light he has given off during his time on RUclips. To see his channel continuing with updates from his family, and to read the comments of other people who have been touched by Dan has restored some of my faith in the RUclips community.

I am sorry that I couldn’t be there for Dans Memorial as I live in Fl. I know what you are going thru as I lost my Grown Son last Jan. After being so ill. It is so hard to go thru loosing a child no matter what age they are. Thanks for coming on. Dan was such a fighter. God be with you both.

Didn't Dan make a video a but before he passed saying the family and he were making a bunch of videos to be posted after his passing? Just wondering about those and I'm sure they would be lovely memories to watch.
Knowing Dan is not in pain makes us happy.
To the many people who are suffering through their own illnesses, I hope they have parents (friends or family) like you. I am happy you were able to share your son's joy of vlogging his life/journey. We who have lost love ones know that there is a time before we lost him/her and a time after they were gone. Life is really never "normal" again. It's different but more sad because the loss is always with you. You have honored your son well. God Bless.

So nice to see you again. I can’t imagine how you must be struggling inside with the loss of Dan. I’ve thought about him everyday since his passing and still can’t believe his journey of life has ended. It’s a lot to process and takes time. Enjoy yourselves at the places Dan loved and cherish the memories.

One day I gone see Dan because I have also bad cancer on high level 4 ;(
my cancer it is on many place in my body and have lots of pain ,
am sit 2 years in bed 24 hours because cant not walk anymore,
the morfine is little help pfff the rest is continue high pain.
but I know am not alone with cancer, many people have it,
but Dan he was and is a special man
and now he is a special angel to send light to all the people that is my feeling Mama and papa , Ben, Matt and hes lovely wife sweet Becca that was I like to tell you.

This may sound odd and I'm not sure I'll get this thought out correctly. Dan lived and passed with incredible courage and honor. He did not give up on his dreams. He helped and influenced countless other people. You must be very proud of him. I'm not relgious but you could say Dan had a purpose and completed his task to the utmost success. I am happy he was able to experience being able to call a woman his wife. It's not a little thing. The best compliment I can give my hubby is to call him husband. There is alot of meaning in those words. Congrats to Dan for a life well lived.

Respect for the release of this video. I saw the face of desperation with my grandparents when my father passed away some decades ago. With you I saw the strength which Dan showed in his fight against cancer, which in a way, pleases me to see actually. Enjoy the rest of your short break, and Martin and Lin... I am sure Dan would have been proud of you. My heart is with you, which actually sounds weird from a stranger who you've never met, but that is because of the brief history I wrote down up above.
