@grafikmetal he's clearly a genius but it's hard to find your way through all the stuff he's put out. the more noisy weird stuff is the kind of thing I was crazy for when I was younger so I wish I had found him earlier. I can still appreciate it but I like the more coherent stuff right now. The way you summarized each album was useful for contextualizing things
@@qwqwqwqw99 Yea I can see that and agree the moment in time/mood def plays a role. I'm sure I would have the exact same reaction as you do if I was getting into him now compared to the past.
Very well done, thanks for making a great timeline to follow long in the explanation, and the graphics from each of the album eras makes it that much better!
Oh nah. Yea they are a separate band and yes as indicated from Newcastle, England. If they were linked to being Canadian (outside of Devin obviously) that was a mistake / not the intent. Apologies for the confusion all. 🤪 Thanks for the clarification @jarvell.
Interesting snippets, thanks for putting this together. Did you use AI to speak it in? If so curious if you could tweak with some settings. It's quite monotome and it could do with a few pauses. It just keeps going. If you did have this spoken in by someone, I'm intrigued by their breath control, lol. Just some friendly/constructive feedback. Good luck with the channel.
Grafikmetal never has nor ever will use AI. Constantly exploring & experimenting though. So the reason why this one sounds more monotone & has no breathing/breaks is cause the time was taken to remove all of them by hand and was experimenting with the latest "podcast" recommended settings. Currently on the fence with these tweaks(?) Very much appreciate the feedback! The key to why these changes occurred was from feedback regarding length. For a lot of these bands there is a lot to cover and next thing yea know the episodes get very long and found that when you try to break them up into separate episodes that doesn't go so well either (combination of the RUclips Algo & User Behaviors). So cutting everything up was in an effort to shorten the overall length down as much as possible. Also this one even got a speed adjustment too. The original length of this episode was something like 36-40 minutes and that even included all the edits from the drafts. So to answer your question: Yes breathing still happens. 😉 haha
As someone who only recently became aware of Devin this was helpful and entertaining.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. What are your thoughts on Devin so far?

Glad you enjoyed it! Wish more time was avail and would have done a lot more like I have with other episodes. But 'is what it is...
Where in the world did you get The Wildhearts being Canadian from? They’re English, from Newcastle.

He did not pretend to be devy, that was him recorded at Christmas..
Haha. What is this referring to?
Wildhearts are British
