On 8th June XR Bega- Valley went into rebellion.
There were members locked-on on top of NSW liberal MP Andrew Constance’s roof, a grandfather glued himself to the front door next to a pile of wood chips which was dumped on the doorstep of MP Andrew Constance office, and another angelic rebel was also up on the roof. A small ground team managed the livestream, regen, and police liaison, as well as outreach to the community. BEGA VALLEY WAS SHOCKED!
All in all Major Disruption for Bega in south- east NSW.
This is a reminder and a call to courage for everyone across the world.
A rebellion is not just in the capital cities, because the system of climate collapse is not just in the capital cities.
We are at a crossroads, we have to act and we have to act courageously to stop the death spiral we are on.
