The custom visual cue is the best shooting mechanic they ever added into the game. It was annoying how I would use release timing but I would actually have to release it at push because the release itself was too quick.
I swear they gave us like “9000” new animations last year, yet only a couple were good competitively. If there were plenty of good animations to the point where you’d see plenty of variety on the park then I’d say 2k nailed it. I’ll wait a bit before coppin this. Also I hope it costs less to make builds, that’s what people hate the most
And who says that the animations are even going to be good. Or even regularly available. It seems like that you have to grind all the way to veteran 1 just to actually get good animations for your player. Who knows that they're gonna do that again ?
Then everyone will complain defense is “way too good, need to nerf” then 2k listens nerf and by doing that messes up some other components of online play… then a the downward spiral of patches and then boom community complains and we are now back at the same season 8 cycle saying “why is there no gameplay for 2k26 in July” 😊 rinse and repeat

Does anyone remember that feature in 21 current gen using the right stick the tapping RT to green the shot in the middle? Or l believe 19 where you could aim the right stick but it was another high risk high reward? This rhythm shooting will not be a skill gap. It’s simply going to be used to get clips when you’re up big in the game & you can play around
With 9k pro play styles, would we be able to use them on our mycareer. Kind of like we can pick motion styles, that would be dope. But right now pro play is only for myteam and playnow players.

Why can’t the cpu continue to play smart defense when the menu is up? The players just let the opponent score, even worse the menu can only work during a live ball and while taking it out is completely stupid!
I pray 2k keeps its green or miss for PvP game modes, the ability to make white releases make the game WAY too RNG. Keep that feature for offline games modes only

I didn’t want to write wang from my twitter someone needs to ask how does the goto shot animations transition into the rhythm shooting or if doing that is even possible because if he’s saying you have to hold the analog in a certain direction to start the goto shot animation if I let go to start the rhythm shooting motion would that just cancel out the shot and force a “new” shot cancel animation

With the cancel jumpshot, why not allow the defender to soft press, medium or hard to combat a cancel. You can’t have do it fr fr.
