One Yugioh tcg experience I had that was very memorable to me was getting my hands on the Legendary Decks 2 set, featuring Yugi, Joey, and Kaiba’s decks at my local Target. They were fun to play around with in duels, mainly the Yugi deck, being able to use the God cards, Exodia Incarnate, and the Magicians. Just some of the many Yugioh tcg memories I’ve made.🙂
I don't buy Yu Gi Oh cards as often anymore. About 2 months ago I saw a 2 pack of LOB packs with a rare card in it as well. I grabbed one and checked out just excited to open the LOB packs and boy was I in for it!! I got home and opened it and I pulled a Slifer the Sky Dragon as the rare card! Such a fun experience

So in the card aisle I was looking under and behind the shelves thinking maybe some older packs might’ve fallen down and been forgotten. To my surprise I found a Strike of Neos blister pack set with the alt art cyber dragon promo card. By far my most prized find in a store
Target is actually a big part of how I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh! this year. I had to pick up something and Target was my greatest convenience and I spotted the Slifer and Obelisk decks besides the checkout and I was overcome with the realization I now had adult money, so I bought them. Now I really only play Master Duel, though.
There isn't a Target in my country of Cyprus, but only a few stores that sell Yu-Gi-Oh cards. But they are collectible stores. And the one in ny local town, sadly closed down years ago. So it's other towns that have them.

Especially because I wasn't very lucky with my display of the first Rarity Collection.

Target has been kinda good to me. Surprisingly it’s been a long time since I’ve been there. I pulled my first ghost rare from a soulburning volcanoes pack.
I remember a while ago when i bought ghost from the past II from target, 4 packs and upon opening the last pack every card was a misprint with the lettering printed like a 3rd of an inch off center, you probably won't believe this, but the blue eyes ghost rare i unluckily got was a misprint aswell. Yep, i was heartbroken

I live in the EU so we don't have Target stores here, finding TCG like Yu-Gi-Oh or others can be pretty difficult over here as it's really not as popular, you have to go out of your way to specific TCG stores (and there isn't a lot of those either) or other game stores, but even then they never have a huge selection, it's usually very small and limited to the latest sets (and usually also only Pokémon). I only really find Pokémon cards but never Yu-Gi-Oh! or other TCGs which kinda sucks. Wish there were more available/popular here. :( I just end up ordering online instead.

Put of all the walmarts and tragets in my area only one walmart carries cards and recently they stoped restocking there shelves as well so its either the one card card shop i have or the internet for me

Fun fact target here died after less then a year because they stupidly made a statement not allowing veterans/ legions to sell poppy’s leading up to rememberance day and they pissed so many people off that their parking lots were totally empty for a solid 4 months before they were forced to leave. Good on people for standing up for the vets eh
For me it’s 50/50 I sometimes find yugioh packs but when I do I’ve gotten lucky and pulled a collectors rare and one of the new yubel cards from a random pack
I haven't gone to Target in years because the only one is clear into the next town there a lot better place in that way like the Cool Places they have local Tournaments as well I once big welcome on my first local tournament pack and said is this good when it was 50$ at the time I suar to God I'm telling the truth.
when i was younger as punishment my mom burned all my cards which was about 4000 in total i had so many of the origional 1st edition ogs card so many blue eyes mint condition to ashes

sell those miss prints! I had similar miss prints from cards out of BLTR and got around $800 AUD for about 7 mis prints
