The heart can be under the influence of either the ego that is known as nafs or the spiritual self. Both the spirit and the ego, as two opposing elements within human nature, want for themselves alone complete control over the heart. The conflict between reason and the evil-commanding self is caused by their very nature, which induces each of them to try to dominate the whole of the human being and to be the ruler of it. Even when one of them is able to conquer the whole realm, the other still strives to regain what it has lost and to repair what has been destroyed. Since this battle between the spirit and the self is virtually a battle between equals, the struggle sometimes seems hopeless.
faith is only provided by Allah. no human has the ability to give hidaya, not even the prohet pbuh himself. People are just a way for hidaya to reach from Allahs will to other humans

This is my second time I lose my control on my nafs first time I control my nafs for 1 month and I lose control in sha Allah I will control my nafs for life time .
