I love this Chris - it’s going to bust up my decades old positions. I need the freshness that I’m hearing when you play these examples. Fabulous! Shane
Great as always! Do you still own and play the ibanez guitar that can be seen in your older videos? I was offered an old joe pass jp20, but also an es120 with a narrow nut width. Your oppinion would really interest me. Greets!
Thank you. Yea I still have the Ibanez. It is an AF200. It is a nice guitar. I tend to lean towards the Gibson I am using in this vid. The only way to really know is to spend some time playing both guitars if possible.
Love the sound of the 4ths. Sounds like it will work in a variety of styles of music. Would really turn heads in a rock solo.
Yes it would!

Thanks Tillman!
Wow, very cool stuff. I'm sounding a little more modern already. Very well explained and beautiful playing as always. Thanks so much, Chris!
Happy to hear this! Thanks for watching!
So interesting to see the mechanics of a very cool sound!
Glad you enjoyed it Jim!
Thank you Mr Whiteman. 👏👏👏👏

I don't want to modernize it! I want to make it older!. :) haha. Thanks for the video.
😁😁😁
Good🎉
Thanks!
Really cool but I"m leery of the quartal stuff, that could get me thrown off the gig, LOL
Yes! less is more for most audiences! 😀
