Nowadays due many reasons men are understanding specially who are living in abroad. In western culture sharing the responsibilities means the husband and wife both buy the their house they both contribute, the both contribute in all responsibilities not only house holds responsibilities, But in India women want a traditional man who can do their 100% of gender role like providing, protecting taking all financial burdens and after that 50% some times 70% of wife's roles like cooking, households kids parts etc. SO women want in India that they shouldn't do any work just sit and eat husband manage all. If men change themselves according to Indian women, men will become a slave and wallet both and women will only enjoy, then after all of this if man say no for anything women will ask for divorce and a huge alimony and his 50% property. And the second point is In western countries they have all gender neutral laws not like India some gender biased brutal law against men, And they have men and women equal rights but in India we don't. That's why only for Indian women no need to treat them well no need to understand them until legal status change for men and Indian Women's mindset change, and equal rights comes for men. Otherwise this respect and treatment only for western women who are not hypocrite.
@ I 100 percent agree ur POV, sharing the responsibility doesn’t include only household chores contribution of course financial burden should also be shared if not 50-50 at lest 60-40 or according to skill.. but it should be counter balance with other responsibilities. I am also against of “alimony “ after divorce, it should be changed. My argument for this is , if Dowry is a criminal offence then alimony should also be considered as an offence. But it’s long way to go… for this both men and women need to change their mentality and law makers need make a strict law without loopholes so that no one can misuse the laws

It’s frustrating to see two confusing souls sharing random bits of knowledge, acting like they’ve figured everything out, without having any real experience or depth to back it up. They focus only on the surface of things, not questioning or understanding why things are the way they are. It reminds me of Purab Aur Paschim-like someone who’s just learned to stand, now turning around and mocking his own people who are still learning to crawl. Instead of uplifting or guiding those still struggling, they’re tearing them down and flaunting a shallow imitation of Western ideals. It makes me wonder-what have they truly achieved, other than becoming carbon copies of a culture they barely understand?

Nowadays due many reasons men are understanding specially who are living in abroad. Another good thing here is husbands are allowed to stay during delivery that is the reason they understand because they have witnessed your immense pain. I remember my husband was with me during my delivery and after few days when he was in pain because of his wisdom tooth extraction and got two stitches he pat my back and was like how could you deliver a baby❤
In western culture sharing the responsibilities means the husband and wife both buy the their house they both contribute, the both contribute in all responsibilities not only house holds responsibilities, But in India women want a traditional man who can do their 100% of gender role like providing, protecting taking all financial burdens and after that 50% some times 70% of wife's roles like cooking, households kids parts etc. SO women want in India that they shouldn't do any work just sit and eat husband manage all. If men change themselves according to Indian women, men will become a slave and wallet both and women will only enjoy, then after all of this if man say no for anything women will ask for divorce and a huge alimony and his 50% property.
And the second point is In western countries they have all gender neutral laws not like India some gender biased brutal law against men, And they have men and women equal rights but in India we don't.
That's why only for Indian women no need to treat them well no need to understand them until legal status change for men and Indian Women's mindset change, and equal rights comes for men. Otherwise this respect and treatment only for western women who are not hypocrite.
@ I 100 percent agree ur POV, sharing the responsibility doesn’t include only household chores contribution of course financial burden should also be shared if not 50-50 at lest 60-40 or according to skill.. but it should be counter balance with other responsibilities.
I am also against of “alimony “ after divorce, it should be changed. My argument for this is , if Dowry is a criminal offence then alimony should also be considered as an offence.
But it’s long way to go… for this both men and women need to change their mentality and law makers need make a strict law without loopholes so that no one can misuse the laws
