"Tranny. You will hear tranny used a lot, and we're not talking about your mom." LMMFAO! Dude, I literally busted out laughing in my office on that one. I still use the word vernacular, but I can tell sometimes when I do people have no idea what it means. lol
What transfers power from the motor to the drive shafts? Your Mom 🤣, ESC (Extra Salary Consumption) means your job doesn’t pay enough, Servo (Short for getting served divorce papers and restraining orders), Pumpkin (you stuff it with your junk), BEC (Broke Every Check), KV (Killa Vag) and the number after the KV is her head count, Turns (How many locals had a ride) 😂😂😂😂😂
Very informative video as usual Me. Holmes. While a newbie might not know but I would think MOA (motor on axle) might be good to know but you don't see them to often anymore. Well at least the comps I go to anyway, lol.
Axial please re-release the 1/10th Betty body!!!! I do have a Granny Tranny in my full size jeep!!!!🤣🤣🤣 Great Vid John!!!! Any possibilities of a utb18 motors!?!?!?!
Lcg low center of gravity. 4ws 4 wheel steer. Castor, camber and toe the angles you set you axles at. Can't think of any others atm. Awesome vid, Stella presentation. Well done sir
Is it spelled tire or is it spelled tyre, now that is the question rofl. There are receiver with built in ESC. Talking about forum, rc-monster's forum was the best ever, not sure if Mike saved everything that was in it, but there was a lot of good information there. Another great video John.
How about C-hubs, knuckles, u-joint (slang for a person's smoking preferences) 😳🤣.. And fubar... Which is my favorite thing to do to bashers and rock bouncers 😂
I might be wrong so maybe someone can correct me if I am. But I’ve always understood it to mean simply ‘all of the letters following T or R’ in the words Transmit and Receive. It’s just a shorthand, probably created to make the words fit in with the names of other signals in protocols like RS-232, which are 2 letter and 3 letter acronyms. The abbreviation makes it easier to label connectors and printed circuit boards. If I had to guess, it was chosen because the letter X is a somewhat common abbreviation for the syllable ‘trans’ as in Xmit, and was thus sort of recognizable. Also, ‘x’ is commonly used in the sense of a placeholder, meaning that it can represent whatever is appropriate in the context.

I get by with a little help from my friends
As a kid reading rc car action in the 80's it took me forever to figure out what a 'dogbone' was. Think i got it figured now though 👍
I was familiar with the terms but it is a great video for beginners…. Thank you from Spain, Europe
Glad you enjoyed it!
So glad you call it a rim and not a wheel hate when people say what wheels you got
