It's the background music that makes all this possible
Jenna & Julien sent me here, and I must say....very satisfying to watch!
Impressive deep draw... Came out perfect.
Awsome ELO tunes in tunes in the background 👍
Nice machine! Wish I had the room for one 1/3 that size for what I need to do, or punch out 3 or 4 parts at one time.
Thinking 🤔... just learned something new today.
Sure.....it's easy when you got plenty of draft angle. Now try this..(hands over a perfect 18" cube. )
I run a big vacuum former and normally parts would be thin without a pre blow.
Love the soundtrack :-)
nice.
very nice, especially for quarter inch matl.
This is great. Just wondering, how does ABS fair versus PP in cold weather? I need to make a battery mount that can handle -40C
Was I the only pne who noticed the vader breath? :p
I didnt smell anything.
What dictates the minimum radius of a vacuum molded component (and what /is/ the minimum radius?)? Pressure of the machine? Temperature of the plastic?
Fabian Ramirez My best guess would be the thickness (or inherent strength) of the plastic used. Smaller radius equalling a sharper corner, which weakens that area. Maybe.
@@JustAlanIsCool it's up to how strong you want it to be, a thin plastic yeilds a weaker form, different plastics have different properties as well
this is like the one we had in school but it had a food pedal to raise the form bed. was that model made by belovac or another company?
Hi . Can you help me out a bit please.
Would you be able to tell me which make and model is this vacuum former ? Thank you very much in advance
Quick and to the point thanks!
very nice
What is the oven percentage set at for the 1/4 abs i have a belovac 48x 24
How much root thickness for Abs material we should maintain???
like the look of the machine we need somthing to help us form drawers which can be up to 1400mm X 1400mm X 160mm. Do you have anything or could you advise if we could build a machine just for drawer forming
tom canning Yes we can help. Please take a look at our website www.belovac.com, we offer custom size upgrades at a very minimal cost. Or you can contact JB at 951-741-4822 to discuss your needs.
Like for the "Fat Bottomed Girls" background music. Gotta love Queen
That's not queen, that's 'Don't bring me down' by ELO
can we form with PA6 Material,Cause I would like to place 200kgs of weight.
Cool. Just wondering, what is that piece for?
Its an electrical housing flange.
What do you have between the buck and the wood platform to allow for air flow vacuum?
I want to know the mechine price please .
😃 Excelente muy bien 😃👍👍.
How you get the texture on top of the plastic?
the plastic is pre made
How hot was the temp to get abs soft down like that?
How do you get such a tall structure without getting those anoying "wing shaped"-creases down the corners?
Yes those can be very annoying to try to deal with, and even more annoying to try to anticipate. Originally we intended to use the overhead table with a mechanical pinch to push out the trouble corners, we realized after the first pull that this wasn't necessary. Two possible reasons, 1. The gauge of the material- thicker gauges tend to be less prone to webbing and 2. the gradual slope at the bottom allowed the material to drape properly without folding in on itself.
BelovacIndustries Sometimes you get lucky and most of the time you find assists and various methods to eliminate them during the molding process. I have used many methods including controlling the vacuum draw time, and of course heat control to avoid webs. I have had may formers over the years but not one with an assist. JB has convinced me to get one put on a new machine we are going to purchase shortly. 30+ years in the forming business and you never stop learning or trying new methods. An old guy back in the day taught me the art of forming and his machine heated the plastic with an open flame, true dinosaur machine. He always called the process, Voodoo Science, and sometimes I tend to agree, God rest his soul.
+Tony Castronovo How long was the heat cycle for that sheet? Our current vac former requires two ovens to run 1/4" ABS. The Belovac looks like it may be our next one.
Try to avoid in your design sharp and straght corners.
When pre blowing the material, once it is stretched it can not be un stretched!
Make your corners rounded and make your design not unnecessary high.
Use a 5 to 10 degrees unloading angle.
This means that when forming a cube the corners are not 90 degrees up but more paramid sheaped.
Also, webbing can be caused by overheating.
Use a ram or put some wooden blocks on tool to draw away extra material
hi, what material do you use for the tool / form
I saw a desktop vacuum on amazon
this machine can do refrigerator inner formng box
Through-holes in this mold?
how tall was the mould?
How strong is this plastic
its pretty strong when its 1/4 inch
I would think the stretch/ forming would cut down thickness and strength

what kind of this material ?
Ali Morad it says in the title it is ABS plastic
ich würd mal sagen ... Material aber mal sowas von verbrannt :D
