Heard this song while I was a server at a restaurant, and we were closing. This older couple were the last ones in there holding hands in a booth and sipping on their coffees. Even in my exhaustion, I thought it was a beautiful moment.
Thank you for sharing, I always find it beautiful when we stop to notice beauty in our everyday lives 😊 Anyway, so sorry for rambling but I’m on a Leon binge 😅 and I love to read the comments and absolutely understand this feeling of having a hard working day and yet stopping, in a little moment, to witness something beautiful.

+ClueSign I found out about him from another youtube poster on a Sam Cooke song so I checked him out and haven't been able to stop listening to his stuff. I've also been spreading the word when I'm out listening to my generation oldies (60's and 70's) and read a post that "they don't make music like that anymore".
Spread the word. This man is the goods. I knew Soul would have to come back. One song I heard of his has a little do wop in it also. He must be an old soul.

Simply put, this dude is a treasure
When I was 15 I saw this performance one late night falling asleep watching SNL, but it woke me up.
I still remember it like it was yesterday, and for the next year or so this album is all that I listened to. My father had recently passed away and Coming Home got me through a very rough time in life. Even though I don’t know him personally, I’m very proud of Leon for all the success he has found, and very grateful for his music.

I heard' River' while walking and fell in love with the sound and lyrics. I didn't get a chance to write down anything to remind me to search for it later and felt like I'd lost a song to The Wind. When I heard it again and it truly was like coming home... I'm ALREADY a huge fan..

Elba Badillo it is about being baptized but the essence it is about someone who is broken and ashamed of the person that they have become and their regrets for ignoring their mothers and the Lords wisdom . It is their last and only hope to be cleansed in the smooth waters and to be forgiven and comforted. It’s painful and beautiful and it touches those emotions so brilliantly.
