I think the solar lobs the boss throws out caused me the biggest flinch I’ve seen in the game at one point, it was insane.
I’ve been cursing and swearing about the mission but secretly enjoy it and it’s one of those head scratchers that they didn’t put more resources into making exotic missions more often given how good they can be
I found out a funny skip for the elevators at 12:30; if you have mountaintop equipped just jump and shoot immediately at your feet while the elevator is moving and it’ll give you a super jump, you can clear the height instantly and if you fall just short use grapple
Its falling short is the problem. If you hit your head on anything it could be lost. So for a 10 second time save you might lose a minute. It's knowing where to exactly rocket jump at i suppose

once you hit cover and drop down the chute, you can make a 180 after you drop down before the grate you went into and go UNDER the stairs where the yellow grate and blue boxes are, so you can save even more time!
Do you think that the next Seasonal Artifact won't have any mod benefiting Solo Players? Surely it will, being the culmination of the saga.
Personally i think it will be combining elements
So it will be things like when you apply jolt and radiant you debuff the enemy etc. c
Combining elements mods heavily focused on prismatic. Nope there will not be solo operator i highly highly doubt it. This is why i have been telling ppl to solo flawless the dungeons they struggle with now. I dont know for certain but im going off bungies history with the artifact.

great run. the brig in the end always messes with me. kinda crazy to think the strat is mountaintop. all other weapons feels so bad against it.
on the hatch jump and on the elevator platform, you can do a mountaintop jump to cover alot of height very quickly. with stomp33s you can go from the floor to the vent above the hatch in one go, and from the elevator to catwalk after 2-3 of its pauses
Theres a problem
I have to activate one switch to open the hatch on the ceiling its always closed for me. But other ppl are saying it's open with no switch at all pressed.
What i do is use a grapple It's easier than a mountaintop jump for me.
I still press the switch you show for the hatch room, I've been hearing that if you dont pull a switch then the mission doesnt complete after boss(no idea if true).
At the elevators though, I dont touch any elevator switches.
yeah, Mountaintop isnt for everybody. Lately though, I'm having alot of fun exploding my ankles and getting launched.
Stupid question maybe but do surge mods only affect weapons or do they buff supers as well??

Surge mods only affect weapon damage. However golden gun was working with kinetic surges a bit back and this was nerfed. Radiant buff does stack on hunters with solar super though.
I’m getting used to this mission but the boss room is so aggravating 😭
Zero hour is longer than whisper and there is more mechanic involved than whisper the time in legendary seem really tight to me should be 25 atleas

Good question man well done.
Lets look at this in-depth assuming we are playing solar on all 3
Solar Titan whilst its fast at getting to the final boss fights with the potential of sword flying etc and good survivability from the mini hammer its quite slow at the final boss putting out good damage but slowly.
Hunter is probably the best class due to GG and celestial nighthawk there is no draw backs this is the best solar class to run.
Warlock has great synergy with dawn chorus celestial fire debuffs but again the super is fantastic but its 2nd best to a GG nighthawk.
So hunter wins it for me.

Go for volt if you get it keep it.
Decon is to be nerfed.
It highlights how bad dungeons are to farm for weapons barely had the gun drop I don't know about you.
@@Chablo91 oh really? Well I got a great roll on my second solo clear with extended, impulse and volt. It's very strong. Still no goddam Buried Bloodline ten solo clears later 😭
@@Based_Shogun cherish it. That will be the ultimate roll. Impulse amplifier though im not convinced on if its needed. The weapon feels similar with and without. Beacon rounds sounds insane on that sidearm.
@@Chablo91 I feel like it's a faster reload to get volt going, but I haven't played with another roll.

1 loader will give you plus 10 for free. Lead from gold would be better or beacon rounds.
Tbh you have volt shot which is everything anyway.

Really hope Bungie doesn’t cave and make this mission easy because of all the crying people are doing. The difficulty is what makes this mission so good. Speed, mystery and efficiency feels like nothing else in the game to me.
I agree let's leave it as it is.
One thing to note though we are 30 percent stronger than what we should be.
Once those mods go away this mission will be very tough to solo on legend. But like you say let's keep it.
At the very least i want the timer to start at 21 minutes rather than losing 30 seconds on load in.
Yeah, if they add maybe another 30 seconds to 1 minute that would be plenty enough. But I am no where near a great player and I can still make it to the boss room with 2 minutes left on Legend in the current state of the game. Sitting at 1834 light level.
@@vincethegreat3066 the timer is in fact 21 mins its just it starts on a black screen so you loose the time. There is a reason for this to do with fireteams apparently but affects solo too. 30 seconds would make a bit of a difference. Really thats high power mate well done 👍👍
