Great honest opinion guys. I've got the 180 Darche awning and while they do sag a little bit, it's a lot of weight regardless of which brand you go with. I personally use the built in legs all the time, they only take a couple of minutes to setup/back down. The built-in lights are awesome. I don't have the height issue as my awning is mounted to my Darche RTT giving me a little more clearance.
Hey mate, thanks for watching and commenting, Is yours using the heavy duty 1 peace brackets or the bolt together brackets? I noticed Lloyds is using bolt together brackets and it's the brackets that make it droop
@@Off.Track4x4 mine has a one piece bracket which looks pretty solid. To be honest it's a pain to mount though because it sits so flush with the RTT. But I guess its one of those things. Once it's mounted you'll probably never u bolt it.
Honestly I can't recommend ether sorry mate. The bushwakka has had its own problems, the brackets ripped out of the back of the awning, the metal feet wear holes in the fabric. Both massive issues. Hardkorr is the company releasing a new awning, but it's taking forever.... I'm guessing waiting to clear through existing stock.
Like it was made for me - thank you guys!! Ive been sitting there umming and aahing because of the pros and cons of each ... the velcro and short lights, why my God why Bushwakka. Definitely use my current side walls a lot and they are also velcro so its not a total deal breaker but darche have the right idea with zippers
Hey James, glad we could help 😀 100% the bushwakka over the Darchee, but I'd hold off a few weeks if you can, a big brand is about to launch a new awning in the comming weeks... 😉
Shit that is a brilliant question Gary..... I'm not a fan of the grey everyone seems to be doing. All the other sandy brown coloured 180s don't come with lights. So I feel that I'm forced by lake of other options to say yes I would.

@@Off.Track4x4 great tip, thank you - I can indeed wait. I'm also tempted for the true blue to support local businesses but so exy :(
@@Off.Track4x4was it the new kings awnings ? 😂
@Off.Track4x4 who is launching the new awning as I'm ready to purchase a 180 awning before my trip down south at the end of the week?
Would you buy the Darche again, if you had to replace it?

Do any of those stats mean anything. The main thing is how practical and how effective it is.
Hey mate, thanks for watching and commenting, lucky we run through Stats and set up. Hope your enjoying the videos 😊

Thanks mate! I really appreciate that 🙏
bushwakka is 3 years in the US
How are they going in the US market?
Thanks for the comment 👍 😀
Darche have had a bit of an issue with sagging and listening to other YTB'ers can be an issue with customer service not being great.
Funny I found there customer service really good.... right up until I put the video up 🤣😅
