Granny Pat - I think you need a few more pitchers! 😂 quite a collection you have. Your mother’s lemonade pitcher is really something and kept so well.
That little bird bowl was quite a find and it’s very cute. I think thrifting is so much fun. It’s like a treasure hunt. You never know what you might find. One of my favorite hobbies.

Loved these beautiful pitchers. You have such nice pieces of furniture to display your treasures. I love the pitchers from your mother. I also love those ironstone batter pitchers. You have beautiful hands like my mother. She went to be with her Lord & Savior in 2007. She was 88. Miss her so much. ❤

What a LOVELY collection, Pat. I have your Bavarian China Blue Garland creamer in the Moss Rose pattern. I purchased the entire set (one piece at a time) in the late 60's - early 70's. They're pristine. I absolutely LOVE your little basket weave bowl. I googled it and found one just like it (sold) for $175 - was $225! My grandma (1898-1971) had a little orange juice pitcher with 4 small matching glasses. I wish I had it now. I spent a lot of time at Grandma''s kitchen table. Thanks for sharing your treasures.

I have 2 martini compotes in that design - 1 pink and 1 clear like your pitcher. Anchor Hocking released the Manhattan pattern in 1938 and produced it until 1943. Thank you for sharing!

The blue flower bavarian pitcher from Germany was sold in Kroger stores in the 70s. My mother gave me my grandmothers set after she passed away. i remember as a young girl going to Krogers with my grandmother and she would buy pieces each week to add to her set. They had several different patterns you could choose from. The blue flower pattern was really the prettiest of all the patterns. i have the beautiful small pitcher you showed. 💗

    Hi Granny Pat!
I’m a life long thrifter which eventfully lead me to sell vintage china and collectibles on eBay. And in the mean time, I have a great collection for myself. :)
But I had to switch to selling buying and selling vintage jewelry instead, because it was easier to ship.
As for the vintage glass, I’m sure you know, when the EAPG glass is also wheel cut, its quite gorgeous!
Some people confuse etched glass with true wheel cut glass, but that’s ok. Those of us who want to known the difference can enjoy it because all of the vintage glass is beautiful glass anyway, right?
I have several sets of beautiful china but its all in boxes now because I’ve got no room where I live to set it out. I’m hoping for a little bit of space in the next place I live so I can enjoy my Vintage Pyrex and my Johnson Bros hand painted set, my Steubenville china, my lovely EAPG pitchers and glasses and many more pieces I really treasure.
The pieces you show are lovely. The Bavarian pitcher with the open work is stunning.
The smaller pitcher that you show, I wanted to say what it was before you said it and I thought it looked very much like Homer Laughlin eggshell series. But when I ever saw that it was from your mother, and you found another one like it, how exciting is that?
    And the flow blue! Yummy
And that woven bowl with the birds inside! Like you said, “Its a beauty”.
I just LOVE your eye glasses. They are gorgeous. Just like you.
    OK. I’ve yapped long enough.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Great video....I really, really love the 1921 milk pitcher you got from your mother. Remember about 2 weeks ago your video telling the difference of Fostoria
glass, I commented that I was going to an antique store the next day? I believe it was that video that you said to start a collection (anyway that is what I thought you said). So.....I took your advice, and now I am collecting Carnival Glass! I think I have a pretty good start, I decorated a dining table with it for harvest. Love your videos, you have such a soothing voice.

Collecting doesn’t have to be expensive. The joy is in the hunt and then the find. I love walking into a home with a few (or a lot) of pretty antiques or collectibles. Good luck with your carnival glass.

Your batter pitchers remind me of Belleek porcelain. My daughter and I have a few pieces of it. We started collecting because it is made in Ireland and it looks so elegant. I have quite a few pieces of cobalt blue. I love the color! One of the pieces is a pretty large pitcher. I also have a couple of white teapots with blue flowers. I wish I knew more about them.

Pat e careful with your batteries. It has been discovered that unless your batteries are stored standing upright in a battery case that can spark one another and cause a fire. If you put scotch tape on both ends until you need them you can safely store them like you are doing here 😊.
