Sting and The Undertaker are the two icons that I’ll always mark out for, no matter if they aren’t as good in the ring anymore with their age. Just their presence alone is amazing.

I'm with you. I grew up on NWA/WCW. Sting beat Flair for the title one month after I graduated high school...July 1990. I'll be 49 soon. Time flies.

@@Sassssky I disagree with you, brother. It's just a funny mistake. It doesn't define his career. That's one of the main things that happen when no one talks to you through the headset and when the commentary table isn't being ran by a script. Schiavone is still one of the best.

I've watched Sting since his Mid-South/UWF days and he never was the best "promo speaker" anyway. He got better as he got older, but he was never a Roddy Piper or Dusty Rhodes with speaking.

@@jimackerman6343 Sting has reportedly signed a full-time, multiyear deal. He's going to eventually wrestle and I'll be honest, not sure I'm for that. Not that I don't want to see it, but just for his health.

@@yutikoo Well, you can't blame Sting for that. Wrestling as a whole just isn't must-see-TV anymore. Raw got its lowest rating in history this past Monday. I've been a massive Sting fan for over 20 years but I didn't watch last night, knowing I could jump right on RUclips.

The way they're handling Sting on Dynamite each week since his debut is perfect. He comes out intimidates with his appearance and then leaves. I know eventually Sting is going to get physical, but the timing has to be right. Focus on building the narrative first the execute. 👌🏽
I think he should speak more, because the effectiveness of the quiet observer only worked as well as it did because of the mystery of Sting way back when. The mystery is gone since we've heard him speak so very many times over the years. Regardless, I'm still happy Sting is All Elite.

It made him look badass that he alone could appear and hold off the entire team by himself, and everyone had to restrain Hobbs out of fear.
He's an old man from a generation where men died young, something to truly be feared.
I'm hoping we don't see Sting again for a week or two, so that they can maintain his mystique, and the next time he appears, he does something big. We don't want him getting overexposed.
