Why does this concern us? Grades obtained say nothing about character. Much, repetitive, rehearsed, regurgitated, then forgotten. Those skills attached to a "real life", hands-on, experience, are merits of purpose.

Harry's grades are not a surprise at all.
Well, I don't know. Back in my day (took them in '76) you had to be actually bright to take A levels. Two graded A levels put you in the top 5%. So it shows how standards have fallen. Back then Harry would have struggled to get O levels.
A levels were graded differently when King Charles did his A Levels
Being lousy at one thing doesn't mean you're stupid. I had a really hard time with math as a child and I hated it, but I got good grades in everything else. I don't make mistakes in grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization or proper spacing and have gotten letters published in national magazines and major newspapers. I don't see how anyone can screw up geography though; that just takes knowing where things are on a map.
Geography is also about economy, geology, climate, it's huge
