Tips for learning this dance (Cause I'm trying): 1. Learn it 20-ish seconds at a time. (15 seconds or 40 seconds depending on skills) 2. Try first with the video for the first 20 seconds then try without the video and the repeat. 3. Each time you learn at least 5 new steps, try the dance you already know with the new stuff. (So you don't forget.) 4. The timing is weird so just learn the timing. Like, know that the start of the dance move is on a certain move. 5. Try to control your body. The movements in this dance aren't fast but the control of your body is what makes it hard. 6. Practice!!!! Practice Makes Perfect. 7. MOST IMPORTANT: Do Not get distracted by Taemin's beauty you won't learn a thing. I know this is a hard step. lol I hope this helps some people. Just remember have fun!

And I think this dance is not really for dancer who just begin because this dance is base on fluidity which means all body parts are connected when excuting a move. The choreography, though it looks easy, is so, so hard. Harder than most, despite how easy-going it is. Taemin is honestly, easily one of the best dancers in the industry. Just look at how controlled he, and the other background dancers, are making this song. You can easily start heaving because of how intense and straining it is on the body. For his body to move so easily, easier than tap water flow, is beyond me. It takes so much effort to perfect.
learning the first chorus: yeah okay, a lot of controlled body movements but nothing I can't handle learning the second chorus: what am I doing I look like a ragdoll
two years ago this dance looked impossible to me and i gave up, but now after practicing for all this months i'm very proud of the results. i still have to improve in some things obviously, when you're dancing you never stop learning. remember to give all the energy nedeed, the movements in this dance are strong and you have to learn how to control your body if you wanna do them. you can film yourself and if you think that your dance is completely awful don't give up and watch the things you think you're doing wrong and try to fix them. good luck if you're here to learn 💕💕 remember to drink water and always warm up before dancing at least 4 or 3 minutes too
I found it interesting that me training in ballet for several years makes learning this dance easier. I think the gracefulness helps get the sensual and fluid movements down easier.

tips for learning this dance because I already did : Learn how to control your body first. It will be lots and lots of help : dont rush it. Learn about 5-10 seconds first, then dance what you've memorized in those seconds with the video, then without : listen to the beat, like the snapping and the drum sounds : it's okay to not get it right the first try, practice makes perfect : always stretch before learning

bleh bleh I watched this like a couple billion times to learn it and I can actually dance it pretty easily (despite a few little tweaks that need to be made here and there). I think the hardest part is getting the "feel" of the song to make it look "right" when you dance it. If that makes sense.
It's honestly super easy, it's just, the comment above is right. You really gotta be confident and feeling yourself during this dance to make the moves pop.
I’m a beginner dancer and this is really hard for me cause I’ve never taken classes so it’s hard to learn all the right angles the body’s supposed to be in when dancing to this song. The “feel” is the cherry on top of an extremely detailed, precise choreography. It’s gonna take me a while to learn this.
It's hard and at the same time it's not I think if you have espace and mirror this will be easier( saying that because don't have any of them except a really little mirror) but seriously if you do it step by step patiently I think it will work after that it's the feeling but once you know the coregraphy it will ,I think, be easier I personally can't memorize the coregraphy do you have any tip who can help plz🙏
hichandc s in all honesty, just keep going over it, but do it on blocks of about 10 seconds, depending on how complex it is, get that part roughly and then add it to what you've already got and eventually you will have memorised the whole dance and will only need to tweak it (the beginning will be the bast bit as you'll have danced that the most).

This dance is difficult for any beginner, it contains alot of moves which needs alot of control in body muscles and parts, including how fast and neat some needs to be done. It might seem easy, but when coming to reality, it has many and alot of moves. It takes alot of practice, patience and memorizing. For now I'm only good with the highlights and the beginning, even though I've mastered many song, but this still remains a hard goal to reach, and I'm aiming my best for it. If anyone would like to learn it, you'll at least be in need of knowing the main moves and already good enough in moving your body parts. Good luck to anyone who's trying!
I know this is a tricky song but for me and my inability to memorise lots of complex moves it's also the perfect choreo for me. it's slow, I can work on learning how my body moves, when I get parts down perfect I feel really good, and it's a cool/sexy concept which is always fun. I only have a tiny bit of dance background but even just those 2yrs helps a lot so I'm excited to learn as much of this choreo as I can edit: I am in no way saying this is gonna be easy. Learning small parts of this over a long time period to eventually piece is together is mostly my goal. I know it'll take a long time for someone with my lack of skill edit 2: if ur gonna practice this dance as well i recommend watching the woman in the shorts, her moves seem a bit wider and easier to track, as well as being slightly less subtle than if you watched taemin. good for figuring out details
This is perhaps one of the most difficult Kpop choreos EVER. You have to have VERY good control of your body movements, while being sensual, and making all of your movements look smooth and lightweight or it will NOT look good. Just because it’s slow doesn’t mean it’s simple y’all. Take it from me it’s HARD AF. If it looks easy it’s because Taemin is just THAT talented.

Dat Trash Of course, well I firstly had the idea of not being able to get this dance but I passed time watching the video and I began moving like a snake basically. I was in love with the dance, I suppose you too, so I recommend you to watch the video the times it is necessary to and try to start moving like you think it is, as time passes you will detail the coreography. So don't frustrate yourself and also keep working hard, you can do it. I believe in you, FIGHTING!! (sorry if I don't speak clearly english :3 )

This dance is really difficult to perfect because it's so slow and sensual that you have to have extremely good control of your body and how it moves

If you actually pay attention closely, it's all on the off beats. You have to learn the in between beats. In actuality this dance isn't hard at all
