That said, if you want a future challenge for consideration as a solo effort or along with Omega Dad, here's my pitch - the Sister City Challenge: whichever club is picked, you can only sign local players OR players who are in the sister/twin cities of the city in which your team is based on, with the challenge being to win every single trophy in the country AND a continental trophy of some kind!
Should use Bolton with this database. Had some legendary players back in the day 😂

Rebuild VS video idea Luke: Rebuilding teams of your choice, but every season you spin a wheel that has top 40/50 ranked FIFA nations, and the nation it lands on, that season you can only sign players from that nation

FM08 was one of my favourite FM's, so this is great to see all these old school players again!

I'm doing the same thing with Derby County, 3rd season in and I somehow got Derby into the top 4 for UCL. Managed to buy Hulk from Liverpool for 14m and Giovanni Dos Santos from Barcelona because they weren't getting game time. What beasts they are for my side atm

What I don't understand with the retro databases, is why the money is so much. There was no way Blackburn back in 2007 was getting 40 mil in transfer budget. That's the one complaint I have with retro databases.
