    There are aapects of this such as the whole body striking and felling persons through body movement that are very effective and also pop up in a number of other arts..

    He teaches so much more than mere techniques. The state of the body, mind and their connection layed out so that you don't have to practice I move 10000 but more to cultivate the serene and to calm and control the nervous to negate threat. I love it.

    • @MrTibbs
      @MrTibbs 5 лет назад +1

      How long have you been training to know? It's not sport or mma it's battle ground survival martial arts soldiers don't have time to train all day as a competive professional. He teaches principles that allow one to remain centered during high stress situations to keep the body an mind poised and explosive. It's not about the technique but the state of the mind and body when it's used. Have you ever seen how much energy a 1st time Thai boxers lose on their 1st fight and how the harder they try the ugly ineffective and exhausted they get as a apposed to a a veteran of 300 hundred fights who appears totally relaxed, focused and ready to send out massive force in a split 2nd? I read his book and I found it to have great merit and have trained for most of my life. One thing I know is to leave some room in my cup for others tea and stop drinking what the masses do. If you only allow room for your own there is nothing for you to learn the journey is over.

      Wow, I cant believe people still fall for this stuff Post 1980's. Two issues with this system:
      1. The instructor ONLY demonstrates never spars (real sparring). Steven Seagal anyone?
      2. He instructs people to stand 100% square while he demonstrates on them. That should be a red flag to anyone who has ever fought professionally or recreationally.
      YOU can do a one inch punch to a person standing square. Its a gimmick.

    절권도 철학에 가깝게 이해하시는 분중에 하나인듯 합니다. 실제로 실전에서는 정말 극과극에서 싸움이거든요 즉, 상대가 찌른다면 나도 찌르기에 대비하거나 그것에 맞대응력이 있어야 하구요 상대가 떤다면 나도 같으면서 떠는 파동수에서 제압해서 나와야합니다. 상대가 쎄면 나도 쎄기위해서 상대에게 헛점을 줘야하고요 순간의 코어나, 피치, 훈련등은 사라집니다. 즉, 실전은 둘중하나가 없거나 내가 끝나고 남아 있는것입니다.이상제가 영상보고 체득한것을 남깁니다. 잘보구 구독하고 갑니다.

      I dont think it will end nice i sometimes think people like him afraid of themselves coz of the harm he can do. I mean i understand everyone wants to see him fighting with mma or whatever but i mean he is educating police and soldiers could that be all fraud could governments be that stupid? He is going for the kill not like mma fighters knocking you down he will do permanent damage. I respect to the people that wants to see him in real life action but i think it will end in the hospital with a big bill. Confidence is good but in certain amount. You challange him he breaks your bones and gives permanent damage to your organs then you sue him and cry in the court that will be the story probably.

      @Royce Coco hey, i grew up on judo and karate from a very young age. Trained them both together for around 8 years but then went on to compete mostly in karate. Then early 20s got into kung fu with a small master from HK for around 5 years. Then i got into business and let things slide with just some maintenence a year on a year off sort of thing.
      But played with wing tsun, mma a bit on occasion when i found the odd club as i was traveling the world.
      Since then have just been trying to follow what is useful and throw away the excess.
      I've been rehabilitating my body for the last year after illnesses and life events which set me back quite a bit, but would really like to get back to high level of fighting again, this time going into bjj, muay thai, boxing, a bit of wing tsun, and whatever else i can absorb :)
      Hiw about yourself?
