Can you put bigger motors in and just not run them or idle? I’ll Never fish it, but was Mark Zona fish it several years ago with his 250hp but he was told to idle only. He domed some huge bass
Yes. It’s amazing technology that has changed fishing. However it can be very detrimental for our fisheries if the DNR in every state doesn’t take actions on limits and actual size limit restrictions. Some states or lakes have done just that and it’s working
Not the traditional style of fishing but extremely effective. I have caught fish way before this technology was invented and I still can but why? It sure takes all the guess work out of it and when you have very limited time you have to make the most of it.

You can have a bigger motor but do not run it other than loading the boat. They will fine you.
