Once Kraftwerk was my favorite among the electronic artists. Later Depeche Mode, Yello and Vangelis became my new favorites. Today it's Schiller. Why? Because his music is so multifaceted. When I listen to certain instrumental tracks from his live DVD "Sonne", his music has many of the same qualities as Pink Floyd's symphonic music had from 1987 to 1994. When I listen to songs like "Miles and Miles" (live), "I Feel You" (live or studio) and "The Silence" (live) and instrumental tracks like "Schiller", "Nachtflug" and "Rubinrot", I hear this dreamy, emotional and wonderful music that just carries me away to another world. ... And last but not least: When I listen to his concert at Baloise Session and hear a masterpiece like his live version of 'Ultramarin', I realize that for me Schiller has replaced Kraftwerk, so that HE now is the greatest electronic artist. And I'm almost ashamed to admit that 6-7 months ago I hadn't even heard about Schiller!
