Ty so much. I hope the views come with time. Glad it helped
Hay I'm black but on the lighter side and I went fishing about a week and a half .... I fell asleep on my stomach once I put my pole in the water... I had on a muscle shirt I woke up about an hour later and realized I was sunburnt.... It was about 102 here in Mississippi that day but mines is pretty bad It doesn't burn anymore it just itches bad and it's way darker than the rest of my body..... Can you tell me about when my collar will come back and when will the itching stop
The itching should stop any day. Your skin color will return but can take a couple months. In severe situations there can be permanent scarring. Yes, black individuals can burn as well as anyone with larger amounts of melanin in their skin. Take care and be safe. Hope you caught something besides the bad burn.
I burn so easy but it always turns too a tan within a week. I get a lot of mild burns the only serious burn I had was when I was a kid I was playing in the lake very bad because water reflects the UV rays and I burnt my entire face back of my neck and ears my arms and hands my lower legs and feet. Thank god I kept my shirt on but it was bad 3 and half weeks to recover. I did not get any blisters but it hurt bad.
On the continuum of all burns you have the one answer two percenters on the edge of the bell curve. Sounds like your extensive burn fell outside of average. Glad you healed. Hope you have zero physical scars from that.
Dang hopefully I'll be better in 3 days
Lol if not 3-5 days then it's more severe. Take care.
Did the pain go away ? I’m suffering a lot right now …
@@roslane5915 hi yes, I'm peeling like a wild lizard tho
@@kamilien last questions please how much time were you exposed to the sun and how much time did it take for the pain to go away. Thanks in advance and i’m truly sorry to bother you my exams are next week and i’m really afraid that my sunburn won’t let me attend ‘cause they won’t do another exam just for me.
@@roslane5915 I was at the beach for 5 hours total, pain lasted around 4 days
How do you know if its mild or not?
Mild will have redness and no blistering. If it will blister you will know in 24 hours for the most part.
You forgot another variable 8. Melanin of the skin
Yep although I address skin, blondes and redheads with fair skin I did not specifically address melanin. Ty.
