- This is the second workshop of a three-part webinar series titled "Presence, Relationship, and Stories: Transformations for Equity-Centered Food Systems"
Educator and author Nicole Civita will bridge principles of Radical Presence from the previous workshop to specific applications for the food system work, through Relational Food Systems practices. After guiding participants into a critical inquiry into the values, logics, and imperatives that make food systems move, Nicole offer a suite of signals and principles for moving toward relationship as leaders of change-oriented food systems work, from cosmolocalism to learning from and living as part of nature. Participants will leave the session better equipped to courageously confront collapsing features and breaking ideologies in food systems, distinguish problematic transactional/extractive conduct from relational/empathic ways of interacting, and connect to their own relational intuition.
