No matter how wrong someone is, as an interviewer it is very important to give guests a chance to share their narrative how they see fit. Leading a guest to answer how your producers want is not in the interest of the public.
Agreed, the man was given no room to explain. Sizwe came prepared no doubt, but he should have allowed the man the opportunity to unpack for ‘Us’ as the public. We need to re-interview the CEO.
I'm very disappointed in Sizwe. This is not his RUclips channel. Us views are the ones who suffered the most we didn't get a chance to hear the other side of the story and what seems to be true now.
This was really painful to watch, the guest was interrupted at every turn! I also think that CEO needs proper media training so that he can communicate effectively. I have a sense that RAF is in fact right and is doing well, its communications department appears to be its own enemy. Sizwe, please reflect on this interview and do better next time. We know you are brilliant, but listen with openness Sir. You appeared to have been pushing a particular narrative.
Sizwe my brother please be patient with guests and give them time to answer your questions. The public sector is a very complicated space that requires detailed background in order to give clear answers to some questions.
Sizwe is ordinarily great at his job but in this case he was out of his depth. Allow the man to complete his thoughts for the benefit of the viewers. We want to hear all sides. Sizwe is not coherent here, mixing cases, it’s like he has a conclusion already and wants to insert it at every moment. The biggest loser here is the viewer.
There was only one thing the interviewer had to do: ask the right questions and get answers. Someone appears to enjoy the sound of their own voice. We should all be as patient as the CEO.
But the SCA did not say RAF is right on the Legodi judgement issues. The SCA was dealing with the renewing of the panel of attorneys contract. The Legodi Judgement was dealing with the failure of the RAF to properly deal with cases which were in court. Files were returned 2 years ago, RAF has the files but claimants still get default judgments, trials are conduct without RAF attorneys present because they have many cases on any given dates, they cant be in 20 places at one time. Check the default judgement court roll in pretoria. Okay fine CEO, you have fired the panel and hired in-house attorneys, what's the success story except attempts to bring rescission application which have no prospects of success.
You only change accounting standards if you intend not to reveal the true state of financial affairs, this was unnecessary and cement the idea that there could be gross incompetency
no my brother. if your read classifictaion of what RAF is, a social benefit, you will realise that it was classified wrong all along. it is only now that the new accounting policy is accounting for the RAF the way it is supposed to.
I understand the comments now. This interviewer needs a hard slap. He just wants to get to points with no context. He spent the entire interview harping on the same nonsense. This is an interview, not a news segment. The number of people who benefit from RAF is astounding. The one that suffers the most is the client. The reason people are angry with RAF is because all these people stand to loose.
Very poor interview by Sizwe, why did Letswalo even come to this interview if we are not supposed to learn what prompted the RAF make the decision it did. He wanted his questions answered not what the viewers wanted to hear. Poorly done here
Sizwe you are not allowing the CEO to answer, you keep stopping him. We get it if you already know what he was going to say, but please give the viewers a chance to also hear the CEO explain. I believe that's the purpose of the interview.
Sizwe and Penuel at some point suppress the invited interviewed people 😢, the interviewers must asked a question and patiently wait for that question to be fully answered without been interrupted ‼️‼️‼️ If Sizwe is busy interrupting, his questions end up not been fully answered. Please asked your question and patiently wait without judging with interference in the middle of someone trying to answer your questions😢‼️
52.07 What tough questions😅.... you just kept on interrupting the guy, bathong we just want to hear his side of the stroy Mister man. but great interview
This Sizwe is doing exactly what his father is doing in courts. Dali Mpofu always interrupts the proceedings to a point judges always have fallouts with him. Now the son is doing the same here. Will the Mpofus allow people to say and finish their points without being interrupted ??? He is young and must learn the art of journalism
That's clear. He is trying to avoid the results of the current accounting standard as he waist more taxpayers money with his unprepared new model of running RAF
@@sefotlemodiba4308 RAF is an insurance that covers Road Eccident Victims. Now that you guys are failing, only now you are saying is not insurance. Stop wasting tax payers money with law suits all your cases are being appeal to the highest court and you loosing at taxpayers 's costs. And lawyers can't comment on this as your system will target them and thier payments will not be prioritized. I'm happy that his own decisions brought him to this. We know about default judgements going on at the courts. Today Menlyn office your stuff are sitting on the floor no furniture, files are lock at the storage because you didn't not pay the owner of the storage wearhouse and now you dumped the files at the basement parking exposed. Now you want to change the accounting standard by not following the right procedures.
Sizwe this worst interview you have done thus far. What's so difficult in asking a question then give the CEO a chance to answer. That knows his story and all his arguments are based on either legal or Accounting authority. You robbed the viewer's an opportunity to get first hand truth. Please learn to listen next time and don't mix issues. Sequence is important.
A disaster of an interview😢😢. The interviewer looks like he read so much now he wants to throw everything he read before he forgets. No time at all for the guest. Horrible!!
Hi im clive siphiwe mlaba im one of a client of Raf since 2016 till now im not been paid i get the message from the lawyers says my date is on 2026 meaning that i will cover 10 years
Yhoo haai Sizwe is arrogant and is attacking this man without facts....I dont like how bias he is in this interview. He acts like he knows it all and nothing said by Mr Letsoalo is right according to him.
So far I'm with Sizwe - and normally I'm not - I sense in the chat some aligning them with an arrogant CEO - the poor record of the RAF smacks of incompetence "Currently, the RAF owes in excess of R17. 2 billion in a backlog of unpaid claims"
Eventually RAF will collapse, one thing we must instill in our South Africans is payment of services. Government must pass a law that when you own a car then you must buy an insurance for it, contracts could be made depending on one's tax bracket with the insurer and RAF so that they share the risk of this policy holder. For instance, if a drive run through a group of individuals and the damage is R1000000, the private insurer might pay out 60% and RAF to payout 40%.
When I read the comments below just before I watched I swear I thought there was "blood" on the floor, very far from that, people should refrain from being entertained by long speeches. The guest answered what he could but couldn’t fool the host, that's all.
you need to show instructions given to you by panel attorney. your contract is with them. that is, any obligation must be addressed by them. else, go to court.
RAF cannot is not a scheme insofar as the ACT stands. The Road Accident Benefit Scheme Bill was thrown out of parliament, therefore it remains an insurer, the drivers are indemnified from liability when the injured anyone in accident.
But the gentleman spoke of the Reserve Bank regulations that make it a social benefit scheme. You have not rebutted his argument. I have no dog in this fight just want know the correct classification and which regulation do we rely on.
No point in submitting a claim as they don’t pay it despite a court order which says they must pay for the rest of my life. Have not had had a claim paid for probably 8 years
Your IQ is very low. The CEO was starting the interview with an analogy to try to explain how SCOPA was forcing untruths by describing RAF as an insurance entity while in actual fact they're not.

So true
Sizwe (with all respect) is a podcast interviewer not National TV. Right guy Wrong Platform
How did they make this man the CEO?
Take a wild guess.
He is qualified and eloquent, however the narrative Sizwe is trying to push is to please his funders,he is not interested in the TRUTH
you should have encouranged anyone to apply. people must just apply for jobs they think they are qualified for. no corrupt individuals.
This man knows his work, the reason you not seeing that is because Sizwe is not giving the man a chance to say anything that's why
Agreed, the man was given no room to explain. Sizwe came prepared no doubt, but he should have allowed the man the opportunity to unpack for ‘Us’ as the public. We need to re-interview the CEO.

First Problem is that Sizwe does not understand accounting.
This was Sizwe’s interview.
Sizwe my brother please be patient with guests and give them time to answer your questions. The public sector is a very complicated space that requires detailed background in order to give clear answers to some questions.

CEO hv a point, Sizwe tried to push certain agenda n Colins Letsoalo did not give him that space. Pick up warra
There was only one thing the interviewer had to do: ask the right questions and get answers. Someone appears to enjoy the sound of their own voice. We should all be as patient as the CEO.
Sizwe should have allowed the man to make his points. Terrible interviewing skills. I'm personally I'm not happy. 😂😂
For the 1st 13 minutes Letsoalo is speaking freely, what's the problem.
Sizwe interferes a lot that we lost the fact from the CEO's answer
Give the man a chance for goodness sake
But Sizwe you not giving the gentleman chance to explain
Sizwe came with gun blazing that's why he is inpatient on this one😅
Sizwe is a very BAD listener. The CEO is 💯,% correct
Sizwe smoked something strong for his head
Sizwe dropped the ball here.
RAF is very wrong and it is unacceptable the delays and disorder. Sizwe was very right to go at this guy and get him out of his cocky character.
But the SCA did not say RAF is right on the Legodi judgement issues. The SCA was dealing with the renewing of the panel of attorneys contract. The Legodi Judgement was dealing with the failure of the RAF to properly deal with cases which were in court.

Like father like son🤦🏿 Very arrogant Sizwe. Learn to listen to understand please, don’t argue.
I'm disappointed with how Sizwe is handling the interview.
Relax, Sizwe is clued up with what's happening with at the Road Accident Fund.
But as the interviewer you can’t be asking and answering yourself at the same time.
We understand but Sizwe must learn to be patient to get to the bottom of the point made here
kuloyo 1997...sasizalwa.....now im 26, i got not a Rand in my pokets...i need to be at the EU brick summit....even losing time
This is now a debate and not an interview. The CEO didn't get his points across.
A disaster of an interview😢😢. The interviewer looks like he read so much now he wants to throw everything he read before he forgets.
No time at all for the guest. Horrible!!
Couldn’t agree more. Less would have been more from him
True, he was over prepared for slaughter....it was a disaster interview.
So true, l also think he was rushing questions 😮, he should have scheduled the CEO for long long scheduled time if not tripled invitation sessions.

Unfiltered is loosing purpose!
Mmm lawyers are are bad and road accident fund give people small money when they claim direct claim who is wrong here
It’s like Sizwe doesn’t listen to the people he is interviewing……. He is trying to hard to get certain answers
Sizwe wants to win.
One of those who are waiting for that money 2017 till now. When I go the they said it is on the a.g

Eish Sizwe don't filter the CEO🤦🏽♂️
I dont like Sizwe's interview style. I dnt like a journalist who jst runs with a popular narrative.
This guy is clearly incompetent. Sizwe was just annoyed by his mere face.
The letter come from who? Who is telling you since you keep on saying"we are told"
We mawe he must say his funded or not his work for Raf
very disappointed in sizwe in this interview...very bias and also not allowing the guest to speak
We want someone from Uif please those people robbed me my money😭
sizwe you must answer the questions
Because its like he got answers of all the questions he asked 😢
The people are not paid medico legal professionals and medical entities are not paid, thus raf is inappropriately
you need to show instructions given to you by panel attorney. your contract is with them. that is, any obligation must be addressed by them. else, go to court.
@@sefotlemodiba4308 pay panel attorneys then so that they can be able to pay medico legal professionals
This guy is on the defensive. Aggressively so. That says something. Very clearly. Sizwe doesn't allow gaslighting.
