The organist trying to keep up is the funniest part
Cubs fan on winning world series
actually the best part was Harry the 3rd laughing like a hyena
RIP GARY PRESSY
🤣🤣🤣
Let alone everyone singing ha ha ha.🤣🤣🤣
Ditka was stuck in traffic on addison during the top of the 7th. He pulled the car up right to the front gate, and with terrible hips ran up the ramp to the booth. Funny stuff.
Oh, I misread your explanation. I thought you said "with terrible lips".
Dedication
"root root root for the home team" LOL
The way he rolls his eyes after he finishes and his voice cracks on the final note is friggin' priceless!
1...2...3 strikes you're out at the old! Ball! GEEEEAME!
0:36 he takes the mic before the guy finishes his sentence LMAOOO
I was crying from laughter. What a classic moment.
Thank you Gary Pressy for playing the organ as fast as Ditka could sing! Thank you for ALL your 33 years of playing, too. Cub fans and other fans, too will greatly miss you and your talented fingers! Sept 22, 2019
Him and Ozzy crushed it
“IF THEY DON’T WIN IT’S A SHAAAAME!”
This was actually July 5, 1998, not June 5th. I was at this game, and I remember the Cubs came back in the 8th inning to win.
Inspired by Mike's performance
0.75 speed, he sings normal. Lol.
You’re right. Hilarious
Hey Coach, meter's running. METER'S RUNNING GO FASTER!
The Cubs literally scored 7 runs after this
Saw this live in TV. Didn't know he was the Bears' coach until my father pointed it out to me (I was born AFTER the Bears won SBXX. All I could think was "how did somebody so awful get the opportunity to be a guest conductor of The Stretch?"
The organist needing to adjust their speed 😂 😂
Oh my god! I remember when Mike sang and he was the talk of the town. The news was making fun of him. In my mind it was a recent thing, and now I see 1998 and realize this "recent" thing was 23 years ago! WOW. It was a lifetime ago.
This happened JULY 5th, 1998, not June 5th. I was at the game.
Ditka stayed with Chip and Steve for the bottom of the 7th as they asked him about his Saints team that upcoming year - he called Chip "Skip" (his dad's name) about 4 or 5 times during the inning and then had to leave because he had left his car running outside the park.
😅😅😅😅
Shoutout Rob Scallon and Gary Pressey
LOOOOL, I watched this live as a kid and was rofl
0:54 I'll root, rah root for the home team.
He sang it fast and he said root root root for the home team
He was thinking my car is running the whole time
if they dont win its a SHHAAAAMMEEE
Jl
on
jk@.

WAH TUHH THREE STRYKES YER OTT AT THEE. OL..BALL..GaaAme!
that was Awesome! #ditka !!!
June 5, 98, Cubs played the White Sox. This is July 5. Cubs came back from 5-0 deficit to win 7-6.
Nothing like when Ozzie did it
Hes got talent
You don't know talent then cause that was awful and a disgrace to a tradition!
That really is the greatest thing of all time!! 😂
I'm 100% making an MP3 of this.
What's up with coaches being crappy singers? Ditka, Mourinho, Van Gaal...the list goes on.
they scream too much
i would say that was pitiful but oozy osbourne has set the standard so pathetically low that this is considered Grammy award winning.
Ha! Those were the days
He was really just yelling the whole thing😂
Lol, was he singing fast because he was late and had to hurry before the bottom of the 7th started?
if they don't win IT'S A SHAME!!!!!
I'm gonna sue you for putting this up because I literally laughed my ass off hahaha!
So glad I found this
This is just too funny 🤣 😂 😆
0:38 where he starts
I heard that at the time he was late because before that he went out golfing and was stuck in traffic that's why he singed that way, I wouldn't blame him imagine climbing all those ramps and short stars it does get tiring if you're rushing
that was good. laughing my ass off
All I know is this is inspirational. The Cubs came back and won the game! And it was July 5, 1998. I know. I watched the game. As a Pirates fan, I still feel bad about it. www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1998/B07050CHN1998.htm
DAAAA COACH.
MY EARS!!! THEIR MELTING (DA BEARS!)
He has places to go.
There was not a person in the stands who would boo him. #DaCoach
This was exactly what Gary Pressy was talking about. If you dont know who he was, he was the organist.
I remember watching a video of what you're saying. I think it was a documentary. Now I can't find it. Do you have the link to what Gary Pressy was discussing?
@@brianmccormick3837 Yes, I can’t get a link but it was a video of a guitarist interviewing him. It should pop up when you type in “Gary Pressy” on YT.
@@masongaming2623 Do you know what the guitarist's name was?
I was weak when I saw this live haha.
That's fucking hilarious
I wonder if Steve Stone ever sang. Chip Caray actually has a pretty good voice. He must of inherited that from his mom's side of the family.
It's amusing that the Cubs would invite the Saints coach to sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
I know he was, but at the time he coached the Saints. It was a joke.
That 1,2, and 3 was really fast 😅😅😅
It's a SHHHAME
Classic. . .super funny
0:57
Gary said later that Mike was running late, struggling with his artifical hip and such and was trying to get it done I suppose
one big jagoff
At the old ball gAAAme
He sounded like he didn't want to be there!
Da Coach
My ears! They're destroyed! Help!
I would call this performance pitiful and horrifying but Ozzie osbourne has set the standard so pathetically low that this is considered Grammy award winning in comparison.
Roseanne Barr national anthem much worse
It's a good thing the Cubs came back and won or Ditka would have come into the clubhouse after the game!! 🤣🤣
looool. i've never seen a dinosaur sing at a ballgame before.
guest hes a sox fan
Hi billy
Ditka da rapper lol
I dont know whose version is worse-his, Ozzy Osbourne's or Jeff Gordon's
Ditka clearly couldn't sing the melody, but Gordon's was the worst. He was well off the melody AND had awful issues with the timing, not to mention "WRIGLEY STADIUM".
+Connor Smith I would say that Ozzy Osbourne's is the worst, I mean it is one thing for a person like Mike Ditka or Jeff Gordon that is not known for singing to mess up. But for somebody like Ozzy Osbourne that is known for singing to mess up, that is another thing. And I believe that Ditka and Gordon at least knew what they were singing, Osborne on the another hand, didn't look at the lyrics, he sang one or two lines that you can understand, and that mumbled the rest of the song, and had the nerve to cheer after he was done.
Connor Smith don't forget Danica Patrick.
Jeff Gordon’s is definitely the worst. He was always my all time favorite nascar driver but his whole “Wrigley Stadium” bit is still to this day the most cringe worthy moment of my life.
according to Chip Caray, Ozzy is the worst. Coach Krzyzewski was bad too
Still better than Ozzy
Hilarious
When you don't wanna do the job but you already got paid
still better than Warren god damn G
+boogyyman but he didn't though... Root root root for the Cubbies, cmon son
And both he and Warren G were better than Ozzie Osbourne
Ozzie osbourne set the standard so incredibly low that basically anyone who sings the song now is a Grammy award winner.
“sings”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Typical Mike Ditka and the media
SAFE TO SAY HE WILL NEVER BE ON AMERICAS GOT TALENT.STICK TO FOOTBALL,PLEASE
GOOD ONE
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😅😅😅
When the cringe is too strong
Is he missing a few of his front teeth?
Duh, because he played football.
What the fuc
So weird so fast poor organist and Ditka with Referee jersey
Stick to terrible Bears football, Ditka. (Go Pack Go, but also Go Cubs Go!)
way to be stupid.. how's it feel?
Go Red Sox!
Did he snort a kilo of coke before going up to the booth?
Wasn’t worth the wait!
HAHAHAHAHA. At least we never tried to duplicate harry carry on the Southside jagoffs. Btw youre organist is an amateur.
