I think sometimes people forget what technically proficient guitarists Tegan & Sara are. I am quite awestruck by their technical abilities sometimes, like in this video.
@Bellasteam00 She was (and I still think is) their, like, art director or something like that -- she does the designs for CD's and Merchandise. I could be wrong/off about something. =D

the reason why i think ted choose that song when talking about which song shouldnt make it on the album is because it sounds alot like rancid's "the 11th hour" from and out come the wolves. have a listen yourself :/ but on a plus side would it be wonderful if someone did a mashup of these two songs! does anyone agree?
