- I love camping in the great outdoors! I also love making fun camping meals over the campfire or stove! Hope you enjoy a handful of some of our new and old recipes for camping! Like and subscribe for content about gardening, cooking, DIYs and more!
Camping Recipes:
Breakfast:
Egg and Ham McMuffin:
Ingredients
- 1 cup ham (diced)
- English Muffins
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 Tbsp. Chicken Bouillon
- 1/2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
- 1Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 Tbsps. each of Oil and Butter
Directions:
- Heat cast iron pan on medium heat with Coleman stove, add oil and butter
- Add ham and fry for a couple minutes
- Mix rest of ingredients together and add to pan along with egg over medium heat
- Let eggs cook slightly before moving around in pan with spatula
- While cooking, toast english muffins and butter
- Add eggs to english muffins and enjoy
French Toast
Ingredients:
- Slices of your favourite bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tsps. Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. Br. Sugar
- 2 Tbsps. Oil
- Canadian maple syrup (for serving)
Directions:
- Heat oil over medium-high heat in cast iron pan
- Mix the rest of the ingredients together
- Soak bread in the batter for 20 seconds each side
- Add to pan and cook for a least 2-4 min per side - till golden brown
- Enjoy with maple syrup!
Lunch
Easy Quesadillas
Ingredients:
- Old El Paso flour tortillas
- 2 cups grated mozzarella
- 2 large tomatoes sliced
- 2 cans of chicken or turkey
Directions:
- Heat Cast Iron pan on medium heat
- Start toasting one tortilla
- add cheese, tomatoes and chicken to tortilla
- add tortilla on top and cook for 2 min or more till lightly brown
- Flip and cook for same amount of time
- Remove from pan and Enjoy!
Supper
One Pan Camper's Stew
Ingredients:
- 1 pack large hotdogs chopped in bite-sized pieces
- 2 cup gr. beans chopped
- 5 medium potatoes chopped
- 1/2 onion diced
- 2 cups mushrooms chopped
- 1/2 of a zucchini chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsps. oil
- 1 cup chicken stock
2 Tbsps. Garlic Salt
2 Tbsps. Italian Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Heat pan over medium heat
- Add all veggies and hotdogs to the pan and fry for 5-6 min
- Add sauce and chicken stock - season
- Cover with foil and simmer over medium heat for 45-50 min or until veggies soften.
- Serve with tortilla and enjoy
Dessert
Orange Infused Cinnamon Buns
- Pillsbury can of large unbaked cinnamon buns and icing
- 5 oranges sliced in half (see video) with flesh taken out
- 2 Tbsps. orange juice (from orange flesh)
- 2 Tbsps. milk
Directions:
- Place buns in halves of oranges and gently press into the orange
- Place all in foil plate, put foil plate in cast iron pan
- Cover with foil and cook on grate over a campfire for 60 mins
(Wait till fire gives out good amount of heat and isn't too active)
- While cooking prepare icing: Mix with milk to loosen for drizzling after.
- Remove buns from fire when dough is baked and drizzle with orange juice, then icing. Enjoy!
S'mores 3 ways
- Cook marshmallows over coals of campfire for about 1-2 min
- For Regular S'mores add nutella to graham cracker and marshmallow between
- For Peanut Butter, Chocolate use peanut butter as well.
- For Raspberry Chocolate add raspberries after adding chocolate

I soooo enjoyed watching that! I need to bring my cast iron pan next time, apparently! Thank you for including all the recipes below- that one pan stew looks yummy.
