Ah man, love the LeMond content, hate the LeMond horns. Was hoping the Fignon video was the last of that. Rookie move Roadman, it's on you to see that and correct it.
The Russians/Soviets had a near monopoly on Titanium, at that time. I imagine they could have come up with some really good bikes, for export, had they wanted to.
I was a huge roche fan and relished any head to head encounters they had though there was only the 85 tdf where they were both on full form and can't think of any classics like liege or lombarday when they truly went head to head----lbl 85 perhaps----? Both insanely talent riders though I think greg was somewhat more robust than stephen in terms of not succumbing to injury----
@@fjp3305 yes absolutely brilliant imagine if roche had been 100 % during the 89 tdf and delgado hadn't lost that time in the prolouge what a brilliant 4 way clash that would have been----pure speculation though 😄 plus it was a hot tour and stephen always suffered in the heat.
I rode that Ardennes race, I spoke to Lemond about it at the TDU.

Someone should tell Greg that it looks like he's wearing horns.
LeMond competed during such amazing eras of racing.
Did he not also say that to visiting in the 87 giro----?.

His battles with Delgado in the Tour of 87 were great. Too bad Delgado didn't win that tour.

@@JohnButler-iq8rl Yes, Delgado said his best year was 89.
