You make me want to re-read Hunger Games, haha! I read them many years ago! I love the movies forever! Surprisingly, Lightlark was my favorite book of November! 🏹🏹🏹
We need more people like this telling us truth! Just finished reading Hidden Signs of the Universe by Olivia Cooper. Its fascinating what they hide from society
the hunger games is such a top tier series and the epilogue still gives me chills, I would definitely recommend picking up ballad of songbirds and snakes too! 🏹
🏹🏹🏹🏹 Hunger Games is amazing so glad you loved it. The quality of the writing is incredible. Best book of NOV is Lady of Darkness!!! Im actually on book 3! Liked book 2 but...so good so far. Im also actually 10% into Dawn of the Cursed Queen!
Girly yess welcome to the hunger games fandom!!! Nowww you just have the prequel book The ballad of songbirds and snakes and the new one coming out next year to read 😂😂😂
I am so glad you enjoyed The Hunger Games! It's been my favorite series ever since I read it like a decade ago. It just holds a special place in my heart. It was the first book series that I absolutely flew through. Definitely worth the hype 🏹
🏹 what I would do to read the hunger games again for the first time! Please read the ballad of song birds and snakes while everything is fresh in your mind. It’s so good!!
THE WAY I WAS LIVING FOR YOUR HUNGER GAMES UPDATES! 🤭 I think about it almost every day STILL. I will be absolutely insufferable when Sunrise on the Reaping drops!
November was a great reading month for me, I loved books 2 & 3 in the Gods and Monsters series, The Women by Kristin Hannah and Pachinko were great reads/listens, The Crown of Oaths and Curses was incredible and I loved Pits & Poison ❤️ The Cerulean Chronicles was also really fun!
YES HUNGER GAMES!!! Among My fav trilogies ever! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I read each book in one day each, 5 stars all around ! Also the movies are fantastic too and I’ve rewatched them too many times! I’m rereading the books now because haymitch backstory is coming out next year 🥹😍
Yesss hunger games! I highly recommend the Songbirds and Snakes prequel. It is SO FASCINATING to watch it play out from a psychological standpoint. I read the trilogy and prequel for the first time at 31!
omgggg welcome to the hunger games fandom!!! it literally is brain chemistry altering. now you gotta read ballad of songbirds and snakes for the emotional trauma of that book + movie!!!! (i think about re-watching at least once a day)
Omg I came across Hazel McBride’s tiktok recently and commented I would buy her book just bc I love her name lol but your review makes me even more excited!
I re-read the Hunger Games this year after such a long time and I think it's incredible how the story still holds up to this day and it was so reminiscent of me reading these books for the very first time when I was a teenager, but I think I can appreciate this trilogy way more now that I'm a bit older. 🏹🧡🌳Are you gonna read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes ? I really enjoyed it and I think it adds so much more to Snow's character. Also I'm really curious how I'll enjoy the next book (Haymitch's story), I'm a bit skeptical but also super excited.🩷
I also gave Fragile Sanctuary 3 stars, but the series gets better as it goes. I actually prefer the Lost & Found series by Catherine, they are amazing! I haven’t read The Hunger Games but I have watched all the movies, so now maybe it’s time to pick them up! Also, your top is stunning!! 🏹🏹
Bestie! I’m so glad you finally read the hunger games, I’m quite surprised you haven’t read it before now.. btw, did you notice the similarities between that and powerless?
Ok, alright, ok… let me try to keep this short. I’ve had The Hunger Games in the back of my mind for a while now because it’s been YEARS since I read it but I keep hearing it talked about so I thought it might be a good experience to re-read it. Then lately I’ve been really struggling to find good books and I’m trying to cultivate a really smart list for my TBR. Theeen I hear this and immediately add the hunger games, obvs. THEN I did a fun little “TBR jar” situation with about 20 book options and guess what I pull… The Hunger Games! It’s obviously fate. Thank you for putting this back on my radar. I’m excited!
🏹 ive watched the hunger games universe movies and i am obsessed with them!! the 2nd one is my fave lol. i haven't read the books yet because my tbr is already so big but i'd like to pick them up :)
confession- Watched the movies, but never read the Hunger Games series either! 😂😂 This month I'm finally getting into the TOG. Just finished Queen of Shadows and jumping into Empire of Storms. I'm soooo sucked in this series!!
I saw on Instagram you were watching The Hunger Games and I literally created a Starz account so I could watch too. I forgot how good the first one is! I even got my BF to watch and he never watches that kind of stuff. He’s harassing me to watch Catching Fire with him next😂 For November I had 2 5* reads - Daydream by Hannah Grace (thank god Henry’s book was good bc I didn’t care for Wildfire) and then A Court this Cruel and Lovely by Stacia Stark. Have no idea why I didn’t pick that series up sooner but book 1 was ever going to me. Lorian?! Ugh 🥵 🏹🏹🏹🏹🏹
I also didn’t love The Will of the Many like I thought I would. It felt like an off brand version of Red Rising 😅 it was also so dense and hard for me to get through.
Inmortal Dark was the book that kept my attention through November. You're not the last person that hasn't read The hunger games now I'm interested in reading it although I've watched the movies already🏹🏹
🏹You’ve convinced me to give The Hunger Games a third try. lol I hope it sticks this time. 😩 Are you going to read the prequel and also the newest book next year🏹

I still think about The Will of the Many and cannot wait for the sequel. It brought me out of a romance reading slump.

Fav reads of November were Life’s Too Short by Abby Jimenez and The Mistletoe Motive 🥰 🖤🖤🖤🏹 love The Hunger Games so so much!

Your top is gorgeous 😊
thank you! from abercrombie :)
I felt very similarly about both Bristol Keats and Will of the Many. But hoping I disagree with you about Dagger and the Flame when I get to it haha
I literally have to try hunger games now!
