Doom, Diablo (Tristran), Last of Us, Mass Effect (End credits), Death Stranding, all games that evoke a strong emotional response when I remember them because of how strongly the music captured your attention and elevated the experience. Easily my favorite track from the game, the one I caught myself humming and thinking about long after I'd put down the controller. I just read the TechRadar piece on the soundtrack and learning that the song was born from Highway 16 felt like a gut punch. I know that feeling of growing up privileged, next door to tragedy with no clue, and it's such a mix of gratitude and grief looking back on it. Your song is really remarkable, thanks for putting it out there.

I wonder how the devs license the music for the game? I can think of a few tracks that would fit the mood when listening to this track, and the other ones on the radio. Two that immediately popped into my head was "The Devil Makes Three - Ten Feet Tall" and "Ben Howard - Oats in the water". I hope the devs reach out to more artists and add more songs to the game!
This has been added on Spotify to my actual driving playlist. I've been listening to it on repeat for a while. The vocals here are just so incredible. I'm unsure if this track was made for the game or before the game but it's just so good.

Pacific Drive is one of my favourite games of the year, and this song absolutely drew me in. Brilliant first impression for the game, and I keep coming back to it over and over again
At some point I was full on vibing to this song once and made me wish there as a option in the settings where you can loop a song (like this one and some others) Unless there is and I just have not found something like that yet. I say that because I’m not even at the mid-zone yet because I can’t find enough stuff to get there. Edit: I am now on the "The End Of The Road" mission in the game and so far it has been absolutely amazing. Listening to all the songs and the other stuff on the radio has really been a cherry on top when playing this game.
When I first heard the vocals I thought it was Antony Hegarty singing, just going off the tone and frequency of the vibrato. There are not a lot of people on the planet with a vibrato quite like this, this is a very special set of vocal chords, just a haunting sound. As others have said, after witnessing the audio/visual combination firsthand, I don't think any other song would've fit the opening scene of the game quite like this song does, what a freakin' mood. Love it!
Honestly this song perfectly sells the game, ironically kinda setting up the back story plot of the Olympic peninsula, while at the same time kinda foreshadowing a few plot events towards endgame
