A celebrity episode of Jeopardy from 4/30/1997 with Joey Gordon-Levitt, Kirsten Dunst, and Benjamin Salisbury. More about Joseph Gordon-Levitt : www.youtube.com...
In case anyone's wondering, Ben won this episode by $1 in Final Jeopardy. Poor Ben, though. I bet he never realized that the charity he shoulda been playing for was himself hahahaah. The other 2 went on to megastar adult careers and Ben peaked on The Nanny. You know he's just bummin around So-Cal, living off Nanny royalties, goin to D-List parties with Screech and Urkel, gettin jacked up on shitty coke and yelling "RYAN MOTHERFUCKIN GOSLING STOLE MY CAREER!!!"
I met Ben 6 years ago at a Kings hockey game. He works for the Kings and that night, we watched the game from a luxury suite. Before that, we went to the penalty box where we watched the Kings shoot some goals. When Ben introduced himself, my mom said "He looks familiar". So then we asked the announcer why Ben looked familiar and he said, "Oh, that's Benjamin Salisbury" where at that point, I blurted out, "From the Nanny!" and my mom said, "That's why!" So then I got a picture with him like I always like to do. He was very nice. That night, I also met one of the Kings players Brian Willsie who also happened to be one of the players in that very game.
If I didn't know any better I would have thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt was the one who played Mitch Kramer in Dazed and Confused judging by the way he looks in this video
The fact that Kirsten couldn't even get the author on the interview book is just sad -.- I know she was young but for Pete's sake she WORKED ON THE MOVIE! She was there a lot and (if I remember right) coach Kirsten on how to act the character >.>
the internet was in it's "beginning days" in 1984... my father had an early version back then, and that was just a wired connection (through phone lines) to his work
Nothing like reading the comments here and seeing how everyone's talking about the way Joseph looks to make you feel old. This is how I grew up seeing him. It's strange to see him with short hair and a deep voice now. I remember when he finally cut his hair on 3rd Rock from the Sun - it was sooooo strange to see him like that. :P
Kirsten played like an SNL Jeopardy sketch. If you saw the full episode, one question was multiple choice and she answered with something that wasn't one of the options
Yeah. He said thankfully he changed because once he thought he was the center of the world but that was because he was famous when he was young. He says he now is a lot more humble and hates who he was back then.
If you're on Jeopardy, there's an implication that you should be smart. There are kids on the national spelling bee that are ridiculously smart even though they're kids.
i love the complete silence to the first question that really set the tone.
kirsten dunst is so hot on this...man id so do her
xbradx11 she just turned 15 at the time of taping this lol
***** lol idc im 27 haha
lol
At first when Benjamin Salisbury came in I thought for a brief moment that it was young Ryan Gosling! Anyone had the same impression?
Do you, by any chance, frequent tumblr?
Mutzaki no, why?
true
joey has turned out to be a very good actor in his adult years.
never watch a 4 min jeopardy on you tube. It hurts too much not to finish the game.
was gonna say... how is this whole thing not uploaded? And whoever uploaded THIS, why not the whole thing? Copyright?
Kirsten : lol what am i doing here.
Best comment!
Such nostalgia, much old people, so wow.
Is that young Bruce Willis?
Ha, Looper.
Kirsten Dunst should be a mathematician. She's always simplifying expressions.
i love his long hair

Jesse H sssshhhhh *puts finger to mouth*
That's so cute! They introduced him informally by his nickname, Joey! :D So cute!
I wonder if he'll remember this? :)

LOL, they're terrible. It's hilarious and awesome. Is the full episode anywhere? Do they break the $1000 mark on their scores?
yes hesher one badass movie!
Hands down!
Such easy questions...even for young kids. My god.
But keep in mind, this is CELEBRITY Jeopardy. Ever seen SNL from 96-05?
Christopher Malone Yeah but it seems a bit easy even for celebs...SNL? As in Saturday Night Live?
Abiel Beluts I think he's talking about this

I've ALWAYS loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt's expressions!!
Yikes, I can't even watch because of the high frequency buzz on the recording. Thanks OP for the post but... excruciating
lol, he was so pissed at himself at the end, just leans his forehead on his hand as the camera pans out. its ok joseph, we love you.
they should have a celebrity rematch now as adults for fun that was cute
this is FABULOUS! ALL OF IT
I'm just glad he got the Beck question right

She met and spoke with Anne Rice during the filming!!
the internet was in it's "beginning days" in 1984... my father had an early version back then, and that was just a wired connection (through phone lines) to his work
I love this
awwwhhhhh! he's SO dreamy!! *swoons*
I love how Joe made this funny face whenever he got something right XD
this guy is everywhere
Childhood Nostalgia moment...............
I was so in love with him as a kid.
I'm still in love
For example......you.
You thought I was serious. And brilliantly (sarcasm) explained how I was wrong.

JGL so confident, and that is fun. Benjamin looks like ryan gosling
I love JGL
Haha, awww... I love JGL; so goofy and cute. (:
Wow now i feel old...
At four minutes in, Joseph Gordon-Levitt correctly guesses "Who is Steven Spielberg?" and ends up acting for him in "Lincoln" 15 years later.
He played in "the nanny", a great show! now he's a journalist
joey!! how adorable...
Joe was trying to flirt with Kirsten Dunst haha. love it.
their reactions are so cute xD
Oh Joseph . My baby ♡ .
wow, jeopardy back then was really different from the way it is now
When ever youre ready kirsten.
two went onto superstardom, one went on to star in dominos commercials...life is cruel.
I'm just saying; JGL may be the best child actor turned actual actor ever.
Poor Benjamin Salisbury
I didn't know he was on this back in the day.
I know who 2/3 of the contestants are. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kristen Dunst, don't know who that other guy is.
he starred in The Nanny with Fran Drescher I think
***** Yeah still don't know who he is, that's OK :) but I do like your comment. :D
***** To each their own ^_^
0:22 looks a little like ryan gosling
Aw, Joe has all the same mannerisms that he did as a kid.
2:57 "who is beck" that face he makes after hahahah
Joey? Hahaha!
born that day

This is almost as good as SNL's parody of celebrity jeopardy hahahahaha!!!!
The static in this video sounds exactly like the noise when your in an airplane before take off
Wow such a player in a young age :D
omg, he looks so cute when he was young
I want to see the whole episode!
there's hope for all of us
Yeah. He said thankfully he changed because once he thought he was the center of the world but that was because he was famous when he was young.

I've always had a crush on JGL :)
when gosling hit it big years later i was convinced it was the kid from the nanny
Omigish. Kirsten and Joey? Jory? Lol. They're so young!
Internet has been around since 80's
thats so cool
( at the end) Joey Gordon, you stud
Wait... that long-haired kid from Third Rock was also the cop who became Robin in The Dark Knight Rises? *mind blown*
I was actually watching The Nanny from Nick@Nite while watching this video...
I can't stop laughing. This is gold.
Holy crap, 3rd rock is over 15 years old! O_O
awww kirsten
This was too funny to watch
Haha "Joey"
Wow it's weird how kirsten isn't in the title. She's still a name.
These questions are too easy for them.
say something kirsten!!!!
joseph gordon-leavitt's hair i'm cackling
Damn, these questions are so easy, and they missed so many of them...
That's how I'm feeling about it. In the words of JGL himself "Rousing Start, here."
yep thats joseph gorden levitt for you, he was also in looper
Trebek rocking the 'stache hard
Not that they have to know all the answers, but their guesses are pretty wacky
Haha the last question
Pearl Jam from Ireland...
i thought the first one was ryan gosling
lol me too
It's hilarious in hindsight that JGL got the Steven Spielberg answer
That moment when you realize Mary Jane and Robin where in Jeopardy together =)
hillarious
who would have thought Mary Jane and Robin we're on Jeopardy together =)
