I actually got dark magic shark after 1 week of playing through a gem discount lol 💀, I just grinded gems on Arabian sea and bought dark magic shark for 170 gems, also, I prefer to grind pearls this way: first I grind 55 gems on Arabian sea, which should take about 20 mins with the dark magic shark, then I do a run in arctic apocalypse, then after the run, I'll get 80 pearls, then I watch the ad, which will give me another additional 80 pearls, after that I'll accept the 320 pearls offer with the 55 gems, so in total I'll get 480 gems in each run, and it only takes me half an hour to do it. Hope this helps
I also agree, dark magic shark is good for grinding pearls. Mecha shark is better, because of its ability you can stop health drain and if you complete the schematics you can unlock it's other ability as well

I got Dark Magic Shark when i deleted the game and got it back, because, suprisingly, i had 600,000 something coins, so i just needed a couple hundred thousand more.
Dark Magic is the easy and comfortable way, you can use even XXL sharks but i think that using other sharks than Dark Magic in extinction mode is just pain in the ass EDIT! for some reason Ubisoft removed maps from the game and i don't know why they did this but no one can use them, even people that payed for them.

All other mutations are fine accept: world rotate and random boost. You're able to deal with the other ones. It you can, reroll the 2 I've just mentioned. If you get them and are unable to reroll them, stay near nuclear waste as meltdown. Or go to the right side of the map where whales, schools of tuna, GW and humans are most present if you're any other shark that cant absorb toxic waste.
If you don't have an apex shark like meltdown, dark magic shark is fine. I used this guy's strat to get meltdown and now I'm super close to get mecha sharkjira.
helps a lot dude i have dark magic shark so this is huge help i needed pearls 6k for mecha sharkjira even though i didn’t finish the schematics yet i need 26 more schematic to get mecha sharkjira and i decided to find and watch vids to help me get pearls quickly and this can help a lot i’ll try this method
mecha sharjira is better in almost everyway. try doing all the missions till u reach 128 schematics to unlock the ultimate ability. then use pearls to get cosmic alan, as mecha sharkjira and cosmic alan is the 2 best sharks in the game. (cosmic alan for grinding coins, gems, i think pearls too but havent used him in extinction yet. and mecha sharkira for lasting longer and survivalbility.)

actually i’ve grinded for cosmic alan in 1 day and i bought it. How i did got it in one day was becuz i always go to the artic apocalypse for 80 pearls and 80 extra pearls (ad) for each game and i always have some gems for the bonus extra 320 pearls.

if you bought atomic shark for money you can simply play him until you get bored, because if you want to unlock previous sharks you need to lvl up every shark from the first to the last, it's all about the grind. with the smaller sharks stick to pacific islands, with the bigger sharks the arabian sea, and with the atomic shark you can play china sea but i suggest you to play on arabian sea

I recommend you to buy a map of Pacific island (it's the cheapest and easiest) and gather all fossils, teeth and runes. You will unlock Buzz, Mr.Snappy and Dark magic shark by doing that. Use the killer whale for that and if you gather all of this stuff in the map you can just quit and start again(if you want them faster) or you can try to survive longer and collect more coins and than buy megalodon or other sharks with them. Remember to take part in every event for good prices (mostly coins). If you unlock Dark magic shark, the game will be much easier. And don't forget to use all boosts(coin magnet is the best one) pets etc. I hope this will help a little Good luck & keep grinding👊

it means that if pet eat something, it will get score multiplied by that specific number
How do you get all your sharks to be very big
you need to level them, the higher level you get the bigger the shark gets
