Such a great voice and talent!
I have seen so many live acts and have very few on my list to see for first time or once again.....

All nighter was and is a phenomenal movie. Susanna hoffs made it fully interesting. Enough you can watch it a thousand times and not get tired of it. Susanna's utmost beauty. Holds your attention every second where you can't take your eyes off of her. Though the movie wasn't a hit it didn't have to be. It was one of the top movies of 1987. I was 13 when it came out. I didn't see it untill RUclips came along. Then realized the movie is fantastic. I wish susanna could have made more. Susanna did a fantastic job as molly. 28 years young and nobody can hold a candle to her. There was no boring parts it was a excellent movie. Susanna made it that way.

"The Allnighter", is not an epic, Oscar nominated movie. But it is an enjoyable "feel good" movie.
Susanna starts out a little stiff, but gets more spontaneous as the movie goes on.
I think it's a mistake for a singer who gets into acting to start out as the lead role. If you don't nail it, you only get critisism.
I personally would have given Dedee Pfeiffer the lead role, since that was the type of girl that part was meant for, according to Tamar Hoffs. And give Susanna Dedee's role, something she can play with, and go over the top. Susanna and Joan Cusack would have had a ball with their relationship.
That's just my opinion, but I love Susanna, and I enjoyed the movie.
I even felt jealous during the love scene with CJ, especially when the kissing got a little bit more intense than a PG rating would suggest. I don't know if Tamar gave that instruction, or it was just the actor who does CJ taking advantage of the situation. But Susanna looked cool with it.
And lest we not forget Susanna Hoffs dancing in her underwear to Aretha Franklin. Hollywood magic.
