Is this a popular thing in Europe?
I’m in the States and I need to check to see if this even exists cause I’ve never heard of this but man I have a Pawn Shop inside my home, Prob 75 rentable items!
Scooters
Trailers
DirtBike
Lighting for outdoors
Drone
Mini fridges
Big outdoor tents Carport tents or pop up canopies
Pressure washers
Chainsaws & million other tools.
Hmm I was going to liquify all these items over the next few months but I’m check this out!
Thanks man
you'd make a killing on a platform like this. there only available in New York at the minute. The best alternatives to Fat Llama in the USA are Omni!, Keeple, and KitSplit.
So if you no longer have proof of purchase then it sounds to me that you won't be covered.
What exactly do you mean? I don’t understand
I was reading the owners guarantee. And it said you need a proof of purchase or you're not covered. I talked to a customer service and he said you need proof of purchase over $500. So that means if you rent used equipment or stuff that's discontinued that's not covered in their policy . And they wont insure you for loss@hustlefromhomedad
@@Journeymanblues ahh I see 🤔… thanks for the update
@hustlefromhomedad it's kind of sad. A lot of equipment is older and discontinued. Like vintage equipment. But still in use by people. So it sounds like they want you to rent out brand new equipment that you have proof of receipt. insurance companies will insure that kind of stuff. They do have a good vetting policy so most people who use the app are reliable so in general you shouldn't have thieves on the app. But in case something does happen I think it's going to be hard to get your replacement value.
1:00-2:00 min in I was like this would be a disaster cause of when you get ur item back and it doesn’t work like it did and u gotta fight
BUT
You mentioned they insure your stuff, I didn’t get the details of it but that’s awesome
How do they reimburse you and then get their money back I wonder
any type of 'lending' type platform will always insure the lender. It'll never just be a casual 'lend' your stuff out without any protection, especially in today's world lol. how it works is if the item is damaged or unreturned, you submit a claim, provide proof of purchase etc. once claim is processed, the money is reimbursed from fat llama to lender
