What are Tonsil stones?

- Tonsil stones are white or yellow stones that form in our tonsils. Tonsils are lymphoid organs composed of lymphocytes. Tonsils protect us from microorganisms that enter our mouth.
There are small pocket-like structures present in tonsils called tonsillar crypts. When we ingest food, bacteria in the meal enter the tonsillar crypts, Where lymphocytes kill these microorganisms.
However, food particles, mucus, and dead cells can sometimes penetrate these tonsillar crypts and create food lumps. With time these lumps transform into tonsils stone by the accumulation of calcium stones. Tonsil stones form and are shed on their own, but occasionally a stone becomes lodged in the tonsils. When huge stones form, it feels as if something is stuck in the throat.
and it is a bit uncomfortable. Tonsils stones also cause bad breath.
Tonsil stones can easily be removed at home with a cotton swab or a Waterpik, or we can consult a throat specialist. Some people develop tonsils stones very often,
for these people, tonsillectomy is a good option in which tonsils are removed surgically

@@ritikagaur2559 because when I was younger a baby I constantly got sore throats I couldn't swallow food it was a very serious operation I had because of how much it bleed during the operation which led to the operation later on when I was a child 5 or 6 started having issues as a baby

it is important for immune system, removing them is not a good idea, especially for kids, only if your throat is always hurts it can be prescribed to remove them.
I also had my tonsils removed when I was in the 4th grade, because i almost can't breathe. Even tho that immune system is gone, i feel like have been healthier since then maybe because I'm being exposed more to bacteria and virus, my other immune system get adapted to it.

This is nothing I was experiencing it from the past few years then I went to the doctor and he said it is just over production of acid in your stomach because of oily and junk food
So after that I switched to green vegetables and focusing more on salads and steam food and from then onwards it is reduced to zero

That thing is your immune system, i think it's better if you removed it when you're still young, so the other immune system can adapt to the virus and bacteria. But it's a good thing since you don't have to get into the trouble removing the stones and you could be more immune to some bacteria or virus since your body adapted to fight it.
