Respect to our National Folk Singers for keeping the beautiful music alive. I'm using this to learn those not so popular songs.... Pull away, Yankee

Loved it. It also brought back memories of Louise Bennett. Memories of my childhood days living in the Caribbean. Awesome performance.

The folks singer are the best. We need to keep them going. Support them, so they can continue to keep the culture alive. Many of our heros and cultural icons are gone, but many future stars are there.

I first heard The Jamaican Folksingers singing “Missa Bilban” on UK radio Desert island Discs recently and loved it. The song was the choice of Professor Dame Elizabeth Anionwu. I searched the web for The Jaimaican Folksingers and came across this. It is delightful.
